Reconnecting Your Integrations After a Lost Connection
It's rare, but sometimes your calendar connection may be lost. This can happen for a variety of reasons, and it's important to know that this isn't your fault or a problem with meetergo - it's just how secure calendar connections work.
Calendar Provider Updates: Google Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar services regularly make security improvements to keep your information safe. When they do this, connections with other apps may need to be refreshed.
Maintenance and Updates: Calendar services occasionally perform maintenance or updates that can temporarily affect connections with other apps.
Brief Technical Issues: Temporary internet or server issues can sometimes cause disconnections.
This is completely normal and happens with all calendar apps that connect to other services - not just meetergo. When it does happen, getting reconnected takes just a few clicks and everything works perfectly again.
Follow these simple steps to restore your calendar connection:
Log in to meetergo and go to your profile.
Find your disconnected calendar in the list, click the Connect button next to it, and follow the steps to reconnect.
After reconnecting, make sure your calendar is selected in the Calendar Sync dropdown menu.
If any appointments weren't synced to your calendar, go to your Appointment Overview in meetergo. Click on any unsynced appointments, choose "Go to confirmation page", and use the Add to Calendar option to sync them manually.
Calendar disconnections are uncommon - they typically happen only a few times per year, if at all. Most users never experience this, and when it does occur, it's fixed in under a minute. Your appointment bookings and meetergo continue working normally - only the calendar sync is temporarily affected.
