Sending SMS with meetergo

You can now send SMS text messages directly from meetergo to hosts and participants to remind them of upcoming meetings or send follow-up messages after an appointment.

Configuring SMS Reminders

You can configure SMS reminders in the appointment type settings. Additionally, new host and participant SMS actions are available in the workflow editor. Enable SMS notifications and set the most suitable content and timing for your needs.

SMS Limits per Plan

Each meetergo plan has SMS limits:

Growth: 8 messages/month
Teams: 20 messages/month
Enterprise: 50 messages/month

Messages exceeding 150 GSM-encoded characters will be split into multiple segments, each counting towards your monthly limit. For example, sending a single SMS with 300 characters will count as 2 messages against your limit.

Additional messages

If you reach your SMS limit, you can purchase additional SMS packages. Additional SMS Credits expire after 6 Months.

Sending SMS to other countries is currently not supported. We restrict sending to specific countries due to the prohibitively high costs of sending to other countries.

Failed SMS Delivery

If a message cannot be sent for any reason, an email will be sent to the same recipient instead.

Activating SMS for Existing Users

As an existing user, you are invited to contact our support team to enable the SMS features. Otherwise, it may take some time for this new feature to be automatically rolled out to all accounts.
