How to add or remove invitee questions
Collecting the right information from your invitees makes every meeting more productive. With meetergo, you can add custom questions to your booking page to gather exactly what you need—whether it's project details, specific topics to discuss, or dietary preferences for in-person meetings.
Add invitee questions
- Go to the Meeting Type page and locate your Meeting Type
- Click on the gear icon menu and select "Edit"
- Go to Invitee Questions section
- Toggle on "Add questions to form"
- Click "Add Form Field" and select from "Use Existing" or "Create New"
- Select field type and enter your question
- To make it required, scroll down to "Field Behavior" on "Additional Options" section and toggle on "Required"
You can add multiple custom questions per Meeting Type. Required questions must be answered before someone can complete their booking, while optional questions give invitees the choice to provide additional information.
Available field types
Choose the format that works best for the information you need:
- Email — for collecting additional email addresses
- Phone number — for contact numbers
- Text input — for short, single-line responses
- Multi line input — for longer, detailed answers
- URL input — for website links
- Numeric input — for numbers only
- Dropdown — for selecting one option from a list
- Radio input — for choosing one option from visible choices
- Single checkbox — for yes/no or agreement responses
- Multiple checkbox — for selecting multiple options
Edit invitee questions
- Go to the Meeting Type page and locate your Meeting Type
- Click on the gear icon menu and select "Edit"
- Go to Invitee Questions section
- Find the question you want to update
- Edit the text
Delete invitee questions
- Go to the Meeting Type page and locate your Meeting Type
- Click on the gear icon menu and select "Edit"
- Go to Invitee Questions section
- Find the question you want to delete
- Select the delete icon
View and download invitee answers
Once someone books a meeting, their answers are automatically saved. You'll find them on your Bookings page. If you need to analyze responses or share them with your team, you can export all meeting details including invitee answers directly from your Bookings page.
- Go to Bookings page
- Filter the Meeting Type you want to expert data and click on CSV icon on top right
- Customize the data that you want to expert and click "Expert CSV"
FAQ
Can I reorder my invitee questions?
Yes. In the Invitee form section, simply drag and drop questions to rearrange them. Your invitees will see them in the order you set.
What happens if I delete a question that invitees have already answered?
Past answers are preserved in your Bookings page. Only future bookings won't include that question.
Can I use invitee answers to route people to different team members?
When using routing forms, radio buttons and dropdown answers can trigger routing logic to direct invitees to the right person based on their responses.
