Automatically record meetergo meetings with tldv

tldv (Too Long; Didn't View) is a video recording and transcription tool designed to help teams capture, organize, and share important information from meetings. It integrates with various video conferencing platforms to automatically record meetings, create transcripts, and provide AI-powered summaries.

You can seamlessly integrate meetergo and tl;dv, so that all your meetergo meetings are automatically recorded in tl;dv.

Connecting meetergo and tl;dv

First, we will set up tldv to automatically record your meetergo meetings:

If you haven't already, create a tldv account.
Connect tldv to your Google, Microsoft, or Zoom calendar.
Configure tl;dv to automatically record all meetings on your calendar.

Next, we will make sure meetergo is set up properly.

Log in your meetergo account and go to your profile (or to Apps if using zoom).
Make sure that you've connected the same calendar that is also connected to your tl;dv account and that it is selected in the gray "Calendar Sync" dropdown.
Next, go to your meeting types.
Make sure that the meeting types that you want to record in tl;dv use the same meeting channel that your calendar is connected to (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom).

And done! Now all our meetergo meetings will automatically be recorded in tl;dv.

You can use meetergo to acquire consent to record meetings with tl;dv before your meeting starts.

Go to your meeting type overview and edit the meeting type you want to acquire consent for by clicking on it.
In meeting type settings, go to the "Invitee Questions" Tab on the right.
Make sure that "Add questions to form" is enabled.
Click "Add new Data Field" and select "Single Checkbox".
For "label", enter the consent text and make sure that "Required" is enabled.

As a result, your invitees must consent to using tl;dv before booking the meeting. This saves you valuable time during the meeting and automates this process for additional hosts.
