Upgrade to a paid plan

No matter if you're still in the trial phase, using the Basic plan, or already on another plan - you can adjust your plan anytime to unlock more features and capabilities.


The upgrade takes only 2 minutes, and then you can start using all of meetergo's advanced features right away.


This article will guide you through the simple upgrade process and explain how billing works when you make changes to your account.


How to Upgrade Your Account


Upgrading your meetergo account is straightforward and gives you immediate access to enhanced features:


  1. Go to the Billing Page in settings.
  2. Choose whether you prefer Yearly or monthly billing.



  1. Click on the desired plan (e.g., Teams).
  2. If you haven't entered your billing address yet, a pop-up will appear. Enter your billing address there.
  3. Once your billing address is entered, you will be redirected to the payment page. Here, you can add your payment method and confirm the purchase.


Done! You will now be redirected to meetergo. The features of your plan are immediately available.


Already paid amounts will be prorated. If you already have a plan and want to upgrade, you'll only pay the price difference. This applies when switching from monthly to annual billing as well.


Switching from Monthly to Annual Billing


Are you paying for meetergo on a monthly plan and want to benefit from the cheaper prices of an annual plan? Alright, I'll show you how 😉


Switching to the annual plan is always worth it because already paid amounts will be prorated. Therefore, you only pay the difference. You will never be financially disadvantaged by upgrading!


  1. Go to the Billing Page in settings.
  2. Click on "Annual billing".
  3. Choose your desired plan.
  4. A pop-up will appear where you can confirm your changes. Go ahead and confirm it.


Done! Your plan has been switched to annual billing.


FAQ


When do the new features become available after upgrading?


All premium features are available immediately after your payment is processed. There's no waiting period - you can start using advanced Meeting Types, additional integrations, and other premium features right away.


What happens to my existing Meeting Types when I upgrade?


Your existing Meeting Types remain exactly the same, but you'll gain access to additional customization options and features that come with your new plan. Nothing is lost during the upgrade process.


Can I downgrade my plan later if needed?


Yes, you can change your plan at any time. However, keep in mind that downgrading may limit access to certain premium features, so make sure the lower plan meets your scheduling needs.


How does prorated billing work exactly?


When you upgrade or switch billing cycles, meetergo calculates what you've already paid for the current period and applies that credit toward your new plan. You only pay the difference, ensuring you never pay twice for the same time period.


Will my billing date change when I upgrade?


Your billing cycle will adjust based on when you upgrade. For annual plans, your new annual billing date will be set from the upgrade date. Monthly plans will continue on their regular cycle with the new pricing.
