Email Templates

With meetergo, you have complete control over every email notification your scheduling system sends. This article will walk you through customizing email templates and explain exactly what each template is used for, so you can create the perfect communication experience for your clients and team.

Customizing Templates

Creating and editing email templates in meetergo is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to __Emails__ in your settings menu

  1. Edit an existing template by clicking "Edit" next to the template. Alternatively, create a new template by clicking the blue "Create" button.
  2. Now, you can customize the template.

When you're editing a template, you'll see four key fields:

Name - This is your internal reference label. Use descriptive names like "Client Confirmation" or "Team Reminder" to easily identify templates later.

Category - Another organizational tool visible only to you. Group related templates together for better management.

Title - This becomes your email's subject line. Make it clear and actionable so recipients know exactly what the email is about.

Content - The main body of your email. Write naturally and use dynamic tags to automatically insert personalized information like names, meeting times, and locations.

Standard Templates

meetergo sends a set of default notifications, each of which can be customized. Use the "Select default emails" button to assign standard templates. Afterward, edit the selected templates to customize their content.

FAQ

What are dynamic tags and how do I use them?

Dynamic tags automatically insert personalized information into your emails. They pull data directly from your booking system, like the client's name, meeting time, or location. Simply include the appropriate tag in your email content, and meetergo will replace it with the actual information when the email is sent.

Can I create different templates for different types of meetings?

Absolutely. You can create as many custom templates as you need. Use the Name and Category fields to organize templates by meeting type, client category, or any other system that works for your business.

What happens if I don't customize the standard templates?

meetergo will continue using the default templates, which are professional and functional. However, customizing them lets you add your brand voice, specific instructions, and personalized touches that make your communication more engaging and effective.
