Meeting Type Templates

Meeting type templates are a powerful tool for administrators to create standardized scheduling options across your organization. This feature allows you to create consistent meeting types and easily assign them to multiple team members, ensuring a uniform scheduling experience for your clients and colleagues.

How to Create Meeting Type Templates

Log in to your meetergo account and go to Meeting Type Templates.
Click on "Create Template"
Create and configure your meeting type template.

Read more about configuring your meeting type here.

Creating meeting type templates is straightforward. You can start from scratch, tailoring every aspect of the meeting type to your organization's needs, or use an existing meeting type as a foundation. This flexibility allows you to quickly set up templates that align with your current scheduling practices while providing room for customization.

Use an existing meeting type as a meeting type template

To save set-up time, you can use your existing meeting type as a template.

Go to your meeting types
Click the gear icon on one of your one-on-one or group meeting types
Choose "Create Template"

A new meeting type template is created based on the meeting type's settings. You can then assign it to other users.

How to Assign Templates to Users

Open the desired meeting type template
Click on the "Assign" tab

Select the user(s) you want to assign the template to
Confirm the assignment

Assigning a template to a user automatically creates a new meeting type for that person, with them set as the host. You can find these assigned meeting types in the meeting type overview by filtering for the specific user. These assigned meeting types will be marked with an "admin managed" label for easy identification.

If you need to remove a user's access to an assigned meeting type, simply delete that meeting type. This action will unassign the user without affecting the original template or other users' assigned meeting types.
