In this article we explain how to configure availability to be available for a specific period of time. So from a certain date to a certain date. This availability configuration is suitable, for example, for projects that are only valid for a specific period of time.
This is how you configure your appointments
In this guide, we take a step-by-step look at how to set your availability and appointment type optimally. This involves availability periods, working hours, buffers and more.
Go to the availability settings in your meetergo account.
Create a new availability.
Set your working hours. You can also save your break times here.
Block the time outside of the project duration in which you want to accept appointments. If your project takes place from the 5th to the 20th of the month, you should block the time from today to the 5th, and from the 21st onwards. To do this, click on a day on the calendar to insert blockers for the desired period.
After your working hours and time frames are configured, save your changes and go to Appointment Types.
Now let's create an appointment type. Click "New" and set the meeting title, description, link, duration and location.
Now we publish the appointment type. In the appointment type settings we go to "Availability" and select our just created availability.
Then we set our limits:
Buffer before = preparation time
Buffer after = wrap-up time
Earliest booking = how close in the future can a new booking be?
Latest booking = how far in the future can a new booking be?
Time slot interval = which slots are available on the booking page?
Finally, we can use "Preview" to view our booking page. There we can see whether we have set everything correctly. Using the "Troubleshoot" button we can understand why certain timeslots are not showing up.
