Switching from Notion to meetergo Docs

Import a whole Notion workspace or section into meetergo Docs in one go, with subpages, images, links and databases.

Updated on October 22, 2026

Moving from Notion takes two steps: export from Notion, then upload the file in Docs. meetergo rebuilds your pages with their nesting, images and links.

Export from Notion

  1. In Notion, open the page you want to move. To move everything, open Settings and go to the workspace export instead.
  2. Click Export in the page menu (the three dots at the top right).
  3. Choose Markdown & CSV as the format.
  4. Turn on Include subpages and, if you have files, Include files & media.
  5. Download the .zip file. Do not unpack it.

Import into meetergo

  1. Open Docs.
  2. Click + in the sidebar and choose Import from Notion.
  3. Choose the .zip file (up to 500 MB).
  4. Wait for the import. The dialog shows how many pages are done. You can close it, the import keeps running.
  5. When it finishes, click Open to go to the imported pages.

Everything lands in one new page named Notion import with the date and time. Importing the same export again creates a second copy in a new page. Nothing is merged or overwritten.

What gets imported

  • Pages and subpages, nested like in Notion
  • Headings, text formatting, links, quotes and dividers
  • Bulleted, numbered and to-do lists, including checked items
  • Callouts, toggles, code blocks, tables and equations
  • Images and attached files (up to 10 MB each). They are stored in your file library.
  • Links between your Notion pages, which now point to the imported pages
  • Databases: a page with the database as a table, and every entry as a subpage. The first 500 rows are shown in the table.

The summary

At the end the dialog lists what could not be carried over, for example images that were too large or embeds that Docs do not support. Click Download list to get every item with the page it belongs to. In the page itself, a short note marks the spot.

Good to know

  • Each imported page counts toward the document limit of your plan. If the export has more pages than your plan allows, the import does not start.
  • Only the Markdown & CSV export works. The HTML and PDF exports are not supported.
  • Page icons and covers from Notion are not part of the export and are not imported.
