Talk to your customers: ask one question in your app, by email or by message

Ask one question in your app, by email or by message, decide what each answer does, translate it with Mira, style the card, and talk to the people who answered.

Updated on September 4, 2026

Talk to your customers puts one question to your customers where they already are: in your app, by email, on the cancel screen, or in the live chat. Every answer lands on the contact in your CRM, whatever the channel.

What you can ask

Pick a template. Each one fills in the questions and what happens after each answer. They work for a product and for a service business alike, and every word is yours to change.

  • Would they miss you? "How would you feel if we were no longer there?" Very disappointed people get a follow-up and, in open-door hours, a call right now.
  • Why they leave. Asked on your cancel screen or when a customer does not renew. Price, missing offer, problem and switching each get their own follow-up.
  • Would you recommend us? The 0 to 10 question, then one line about why.
  • What is missing. One open question about what people wish you offered.
  • Testimonial. One sentence you may ask to publish later.
  • Custom. Start from a blank question.

Build the questions

Every question has a wording and an answer type: choose one, a 0 to 10 scale, or free text. Add and remove questions and answers as you like, up to ten of each.

For every answer you decide two things:

  • Then. Which question comes next, or end. By default the next one in order.
  • What happens. Any of: Talk now, Book a time, Voice note (the doors, see below), Show a message (a line the person reads on the spot), Open a page (send them to a URL), Tag contact (a tag on the CRM contact), Notify me (a notification in your dashboard with the answer).

Scale and free text questions have the same actions, after the answer.

Languages

Pick the base language, then Add language. Mira drafts the translation; you edit the words, the structure stays the same. In your app the card shows in the visitor's browser language; a shared link takes ?lang=de and so on.

Look

Under When you set the card's colour, light or dark theme, and side. The preview follows every change.

Set it up in three clicks

  1. Open Forms and click Talk to your customers, then New ask.
  2. Pick a template. Then pick where it shows: in your app, by email, as a link, or on the cancel screen.
  3. Pick when it shows: after a few visits (recommended), on the first visit, or on a specific page. Email and messages go a month or a week after someone became a contact. Set the colour and theme of the card. Click Create. Under More you can limit it to contacts with a tag or with a matching property.
  4. Paste the snippet into the head of your app and call identify once someone is signed in. Test it turns green when we see the script and an identify on your domain.

For email, click Send me a test to see the mail in your own inbox. Each option is a one-click button.

The follow-up

When an answer has one of the door actions, people see at most one line and up to three doors: talk now, book a time, or leave a voice note. A message you configured shows first.

  • Talk now appears only inside your open-door hours and only when your calendar is free. It opens a video room in the same window and rings you in the dashboard for 45 seconds. If nobody picks up, the person is offered your next slot and a voice note instead.
  • Open-door hours are set on the Talk to your customers page. Tuesday 14 to 16 is a good start.
  • Before you pick up, the room shows a short brief: their plan, what they just answered, what they asked for earlier, and the first question of your guide.

Read the answers

AI Notes has an Insights tab. It shows the PMF score overall and by plan or channel, pains and feature asks grouped with their quotes, and a language sheet with the words your customers use. Every number opens the quotes behind it. Draft hero writes three headline options from those quotes.

Tag on a feature ask marks everyone who asked for it. From a segment you can notify people when it ships, ask for a quote, a referral or a review, or invite them to a call. Every send respects consent per channel and shows the count before it goes out.

  • Emails only reach people who opted in to marketing email.
  • Recording and transcription consent is asked once before a call and once before the first voice note.
  • Answers never appear in logs. Voice notes and transcripts stay on EU infrastructure.
