Sending SMS with meetergo

You can now send SMS text messages directly from meetergo to hosts and participants to remind them of upcoming meetings or send follow-up messages after an appointment.

Configuring SMS Reminders

You can configure SMS reminders in the appointment type settings. Additionally, new host and participant SMS actions are available in the workflow editor. Enable SMS notifications and set the most suitable content and timing for your needs.

SMS Limits per Plan

Each meetergo plan has SMS limits:

• Free: 0 messages/month
• Light: 0 messages/month
• Suite: 8 messages/month
• Premium: 20 messages/month

Enterprise allowances depend on your individual contract. Check your contract or contact support for details.

An SMS uses one credit per segment. GSM-7 allows up to 160 characters in one segment, or 153 per segment for longer messages. Unicode, including emoji, reduces this to 70 code units or 67 per segment. The overview shows estimated and confirmed segment counts. See SMS Credits for details.

Additional messages

If you reach your SMS limit, you can purchase additional SMS credits directly in Settings → Billing. Additional SMS credits expire after 6 months.

Sending SMS to other countries is currently not supported. We restrict sending to specific countries due to the prohibitively high costs of sending to other countries.

Failed SMS Delivery

If a message cannot be sent for any reason, an email will be sent to the same recipient instead.
