  2. Click "Connect" next to the Google Calendar option
  3. Follow the Google authorization prompts that appear
  4. Important: Make sure to check all the requested permissions to enable full functionality
  5. If you want meetings to sync with this calendar, select it from the "Calendar Sync" dropdown above the connections section

After completing these steps, you'll see your Google Calendar listed as "Connected" in your profile.

CRM Email Sync

From Suite, you can pull your Gmail conversations into the CRM so the full email history with a contact is visible inside meetergo. Turning it on asks for one additional, read-only gmail.readonly scope on top of the calendar permissions, so meetergo can never send, change or delete your mail.

How to enable it and what gets imported is described in CRM Email Sync.

Troubleshooting Your Connection

If you experience any issues with your Google Calendar connection:

  1. Check that you've granted all required permissions
  2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar
  3. Go to Profile and ensure you've selected the correct calendar for syncing meetings if you have multiple calendars

FAQ

Why does meetergo need so many calendar permissions?

meetergo requests calendar read and write permissions to enable two-way sync, availability checking, and sending calendar invitations directly through your connected calendar. Without these permissions, core scheduling functionality would be limited. We never read or share your personal event data with anyone.

Can I connect multiple Google Calendars?

Yes, you can connect multiple Google Calendars to your meetergo account. Each calendar can be individually configured for visibility and meeting syncing.

Will my calendar events be visible to others?

Only your busy/free status is used for scheduling. The specific details of your calendar events remain private unless you choose to share them with your teammates. No one outside of your meetergo organization can see event details.

What happens if I disconnect my Google Calendar?

If you disconnect your Google Calendar, previously scheduled meetings will remain in both systems, but new meetings won't be synchronized, and meetergo won't be able to check your availability from that calendar anymore.

Does connecting Google Calendar also grant access to my emails?

No. The read-only gmail.readonly scope is requested separately, and only if you enable CRM Email Sync yourself. See CRM Email Sync.
