Connecting Your mailbox.org Calendar

mailbox.org is a secure email and productivity suite provider, and integrating your calendar allows you to seamlessly manage your schedules across both services. meetergo allows you to connect your mailbox.org calendar, enabling you to seamlessly manage your schedules and appointments.

Important: mailbox.org has updated their login system (Login 2.0) and introduced two-factor authentication (2FA). If you have 2FA enabled, you need to use an app-specific password instead of your regular password.

Step 1: Create an App-Specific Password (if using 2FA)

If you have two-factor authentication enabled on your mailbox.org account:

  1. Log in to your mailbox.org account
  2. Go to SettingsSecurityApp-specific passwords
  3. Create a new app-specific password for meetergo
  4. Copy the generated password (you'll need it in the next step)

Step 2: Connect Your Calendar via CalDAV

Since mailbox.org has updated their system, we recommend using the generic CalDAV connection:

  1. Log in to your meetergo account and go to Integrations & Apps
  2. Search for "Other CalDAV Provider" and click "Connect now"
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Server URL: https://dav.mailbox.org/
    • Email: Your mailbox.org email address
    • Password: Your app-specific password (or regular password if 2FA is disabled)
  4. Click "Connect" to establish the connection

Tip: The CalDAV URL for mailbox.org is https://dav.mailbox.org/. For more details on finding your calendar URL, see the mailbox.org CalDAV documentation.

Once connected, your mailbox.org calendar will sync with meetergo, allowing you to view and manage your events seamlessly.

Troubleshooting

Connection fails with correct credentials
  • 2FA enabled? Make sure you're using an app-specific password, not your regular login password
  • Check the server URL: Use https://dav.mailbox.org/ as the CalDAV server URL
  • Use generic CalDAV: Select "Other CalDAV Provider" instead of the mailbox.org preset for more control over the connection settings
Calendar not syncing after connection

Wait 5-10 minutes for the initial sync. If events still don't appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar with the correct credentials.
