Once connected, your Posteo calendar will sync with our platform, allowing you to view and manage your events seamlessly.
Troubleshooting
If the connection fails with a "could not connect" or "authentication failed" message, Posteo did not accept the login.
The most common cause is Posteo's additional account protection. While it is switched on, Posteo blocks every external connection, calendar sync included, and only allows access through the Posteo webmail. Switch it off in your Posteo account settings, then connect again. Posteo describes the steps here: Deactivating additional account protection.
If the protection is already off, also check that:
- You entered your full Posteo email address in lowercase (for example, name@posteo.de) as the username.
- The password is your current Posteo password, with no extra spaces before or after it.
