How to Connect Proton Calendar to meetergo

Connect Proton Calendar to meetergo as a read-only ICS feed using a sharing link generated from a paid Proton plan.

Updated on September 23, 2025

Proton Calendar connects to meetergo through meetergo's ICS calendar connection. You generate a sharing link in Proton, then paste that link into the Proton/ICS Calendar integration in meetergo so your Proton events block your availability.

Prerequisites

  • A meetergo account
  • A Proton account with a paid plan, because calendar sharing is only available on paid Proton plans
  • Access to the Proton Calendar web app at calendar.proton.me
  1. Log in to Proton Calendar at calendar.proton.me.
  2. Click SettingsAll settingsCalendars, then select the calendar you want to connect. You can also click the settings icon next to the calendar in the sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the Share with anyone section and click Create link.
  4. Choose the sharing level:
    • Limited view shows only when you are busy. This is the recommended option.
    • Full view shows all event details, including titles, descriptions and locations.
  5. Click Copy link.

Paste the link into the Proton/ICS Calendar integration at my.meetergo.com/profile. The exact steps, along with the sync behaviour and troubleshooting for invalid or expired links, are described in Connecting ICS/iCal Calendars.

The connection is read-only, so meetergo reads your Proton events to block busy times but cannot write new bookings back into Proton Calendar. If you need meetergo events to appear in a calendar, connect a Google, Outlook or CalDAV calendar in addition.

Need to disconnect?

  1. Disconnect the integration in your meetergo profile settings.
  2. Optionally delete the sharing link in Proton Calendar settings to revoke access completely.
