Connect Google Analytics

Updated on June 12, 2026

Connect Google Analytics to meetergo

Connect your Google Analytics account to meetergo to track how visitors interact with your booking pages and routing forms. This tracking helps you understand your booking funnel, identify drop-off points, and optimize your scheduling process for better conversions.

You can track when invitees:

  • Visit your scheduling page or routing form
  • Pick a Meeting Type
  • Select a day or date
  • Choose a specific time slot
  • Complete their booking

This data gives you complete visibility into your booking funnel, so you can see exactly where visitors engage most and where they might be dropping off.

Before You Begin

Keep these important details in mind before setting up your integration:

  • You can connect one tracking code per meetergo organization - you cannot use different tracking codes for individual team members or specific Meeting Types
  • meetergo only supports Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which replaced Universal Analytics in July 2023
  • Make sure you have admin access to both your Google Analytics account and your meetergo organization settings

FAQ

Can I use different tracking codes for different team members?

No, meetergo supports one Measurement ID per organization. All booking events from your entire meetergo account will be tracked under the same Google Analytics property.

Does meetergo work with Universal Analytics?

No, meetergo only supports Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Universal Analytics was discontinued by Google in July 2023, so you'll need to use GA4 for tracking.

Can I connect Google Tag Manager instead?

Yes. meetergo offers a dedicated Google Tag Manager integration that loads your GTM container on your booking pages and pushes booking funnel events to the data layer. To avoid double-counting, track GA4 events through one path only: either via GTM or via the native Google Analytics integration described in this article.

How do I connect this data to Google Ads?

To link your Google Analytics data to Google Ads for conversion tracking, you'll need to set up the connection in your Google Analytics account first, then import your conversions into Google Ads. Check Google's official documentation for detailed steps on linking these accounts.
