Odoo Integration
Automatically create contacts, calendar events and opportunities in Odoo when meetings are booked
meetergo integrates with Odoo to create contacts, calendar events and opportunities when appointments are booked. It works with Odoo Online, Odoo.sh and self-hosted Odoo (versions 14 to 19).
What Gets Synced

Rescheduling moves the calendar event in Odoo. Cancelling deletes it. Odoo does not send its own invitation emails for these events; meetergo already emails your guests.
Connect Odoo
Requirements
- meetergo account with CRM integration enabled
- Odoo with access to the external API:
- Odoo Online: only on the Custom plan. The One App Free and Standard plans have no API access.
- Odoo.sh and self-hosted Odoo: always included. Your Odoo must be reachable over https from the internet.
- The Calendar app for calendar events, and the CRM app for opportunities
Create an API Key in Odoo
- In Odoo, click your avatar and open My Profile (or Preferences)
- Go to the Account Security tab
- Click New API Key, confirm your password and name the key "meetergo"
- Copy the key. Odoo shows it only once.
meetergo acts as the Odoo user who owns the key. Use a user who may create contacts, calendar events and opportunities.
Connection Steps
- Go to Integrations
- Find Odoo and click Connect now
- Enter your Odoo URL, for example
https://acme.odoo.com - Check the Database. For Odoo Online it is filled in from the URL. For Odoo.sh or self-hosted Odoo, enter your database name.
- Enter the Login email of the Odoo user and the API key
- Click Connect
meetergo signs in to Odoo to check the details before saving. meetergo never shows your API key again.
Configure Per Meeting Type
Each meeting type has its own Odoo settings.
- Go to Scheduling
- Edit your meeting type
- Open CRM and click Manage next to Odoo
- Choose what to create
Sync Options
Create or Update Contact
On by default once Odoo is connected.
- Searches Odoo for a contact with the booker's email
- Updates it, or creates a new contact if none exists
- Syncs name, email, phone and, if your booking form asks for it, the company name
Create Opportunity
Creates an opportunity for every booking:
- Sales team: Select the team
- Stage: Set the stage for new opportunities
Without a team or stage, Odoo uses its defaults.
Add to Open Opportunity
Links the calendar event to the contact's most recently changed open opportunity instead of creating a new one. Useful for follow-up calls.
These options need the CRM app. Without it, meetergo syncs contacts and calendar events only.
Routing Forms
Routing forms can create or update Odoo contacts on submission. Turn it on under CRM Integration in the form settings.
How Records Are Created
When a booking is confirmed:
- Contact: found by email, then updated, or created
- Opportunity (if enabled): created in your team and stage, linked to the contact
- Calendar event: created with the booking's time, title, location, video link and answers, with the contact as attendee and linked to the opportunity
Records are assigned to the Odoo user with the same email or login as the host. Syncing runs in the background after the booking, so an Odoo problem never blocks a booking.
Troubleshooting
Connection Errors

| Odoo refused the login email or API key | Check the login email and create a new API key. |

Reconnect Needed
The Odoo card shows Reconnect needed when Odoo no longer accepts the API key, for example after the key was deleted or the user was archived. Syncing pauses until you click Reconnect and enter a new key. Your meeting type settings stay intact.
Contacts Not Creating
- Verify contact sync is enabled on the meeting type
- Check that the connection does not show Reconnect needed
- Check that the Odoo user may create contacts
No Calendar Events
Install the Calendar app in Odoo.
FAQ
What happens with duplicate contacts?
meetergo searches by email before creating. If a contact exists, it is updated.
Why are cancelled meetings deleted and not archived?
An archived event still counts in Odoo reports and searches as if the meeting happened. Deleting keeps your calendar and pipeline accurate.
How do I disconnect?
Go to Integrations, find Odoo and click the delete icon. To revoke access in Odoo too, delete the API key under Account Security.
