sevDesk Integration
Connect meetergo with sevDesk to automatically sync booking attendees as contacts, ready for invoicing.
In this article, you'll learn how to connect meetergo with sevDesk so that every attendee who books a meeting is automatically added to your sevDesk contacts. This saves you from manually entering customer data before you can issue an invoice or quote.
How the integration works
Every time someone books a meeting with you, meetergo pushes the attendee's contact details to sevDesk as a new contact. If a contact with the same email address already exists in sevDesk, no duplicate is created.
The following information is synced:
- Email address – required
- First name – if provided in the booking form
- Last name – if provided in the booking form
- Phone number – if provided in the booking form
Contacts are created under a sevDesk category – by default Customer (category ID 3). You can change this to another category (e.g. Supplier) per meeting type.
The sync only runs on new bookings. Cancellations and reschedules are not pushed to sevDesk, because sevDesk is a bookkeeping tool and doesn't track booking state.
Find your sevDesk API token
To connect sevDesk with meetergo you need your personal sevDesk API token.
- Log in to your sevDesk account at https://my.sevdesk.de.
- In the main menu, go to Erweiterungen (Extensions) and then API.
- Click Einblenden (Show) – a password prompt will appear.
- Enter your sevDesk account password to reveal the 32-character API token.
- Copy the token – you'll need it in the next step.
Treat the API token like a password. Anyone with this token has full access to your sevDesk data. Don't share it and store it only in trusted places.
Connect sevDesk to meetergo
- Go to https://my.meetergo.com/integrations.
- Scroll to the sevDesk integration under the CRM category and click Connect.
- Paste the 32-character API token from sevDesk.
- Click Connect to save.
If the token is valid, you'll see a success confirmation. If not, double-check that you copied the complete 32-character token and that it hasn't been revoked in sevDesk.
Enable sevDesk for a meeting type
The connection alone doesn't sync anything yet. You need to enable sevDesk per meeting type for which bookings should be pushed.
- Go to https://my.meetergo.com/meeting-types.
- Open the meeting type you want to configure.
- Switch to the CRM tab.
- Find sevDesk and click Manage.
- Toggle on Create or update contact.
- Optional: change the sevDesk category (default is Customer).
- Close the dialog – changes are saved automatically.
Repeat this for every meeting type where contacts should be synced.
Disconnect sevDesk
You can disconnect the integration at any time:
- Go to https://my.meetergo.com/integrations.
- Open the sevDesk integration.
- Click Disconnect.
Bookings will continue to work normally – only the sevDesk sync stops.
FAQ
Where do I find my sevDesk API token?
In sevDesk, go to Erweiterungen → API, click Einblenden, enter your account password, and copy the displayed 32-character token.
What happens if an attendee already exists in sevDesk?
The integration looks up existing contacts by email address (case-insensitive). If a match is found, no duplicate is created and the existing contact is left unchanged.
Are cancellations or reschedules synced to sevDesk?
No. sevDesk is a bookkeeping tool and doesn't have a concept of booking state, so only the initial booking pushes a contact. Cancellations and reschedules are ignored.
Can I choose a different contact category?
Yes. You can pick the sevDesk category per meeting type in the CRM settings. By default, new contacts are created under the Customer category (ID 3).
My API token became invalid – what should I do?
Generate a new token in sevDesk under Erweiterungen → API, then reconnect the integration on the meetergo integrations page.
Who can connect or disconnect the sevDesk integration?
Only workspace administrators can manage the sevDesk connection.
Does the integration work with sevDesk's free plan?
Yes. Any sevDesk plan that provides an API token works with the integration.
