Zoho CRM Integration

Automatically create contacts, meetings and deals in Zoho CRM when meetings are booked

Updated on October 17, 2026

meetergo integrates with Zoho CRM (also part of Zoho One) to create contacts, meetings and deals when appointments are booked. Your pipeline stays up to date without manual data entry.

What Gets Synced

Record TypeDescriptionConfigurable
ContactCreates or updates the contact, matched by emailOptional
MeetingLogs the booking as a Zoho meeting (Events) with time, title and video linkAutomatic
DealCreates a deal linked to the contactOptional

Rescheduling moves the meeting in Zoho. Cancelling deletes it.

Connect Zoho CRM

Requirements

  • meetergo account with CRM integration enabled
  • Zoho CRM account (any edition with API access, including Zoho One)
  • Permission in Zoho to authorize apps

Connection Steps

  1. Go to Integrations
  2. Find Zoho CRM and click Connect now
  3. Log in to your Zoho account
  4. Authorize meetergo
  5. You'll see a green "Connected" status

meetergo works with every Zoho data centre (EU, US, India, Australia, Japan, Canada, Saudi Arabia). Your data stays in your account's data centre.

Permissions Granted

meetergo requests access to:

  • Create and update Contacts
  • Create, update and delete Meetings (Events)
  • Create and update Deals
  • Read Users, to assign records to the host
  • Read Pipelines and Stages

Configure Per Meeting Type

Each meeting type has its own Zoho CRM settings.

  1. Go to Scheduling
  2. Edit your meeting type
  3. Open CRM and click Manage next to Zoho CRM
  4. Choose what to create

Sync Options

Create or Update Contact

  • Searches Zoho for a contact with the booker's email
  • Updates it, or creates a new contact if none exists
  • Syncs first name, last name, email and phone

Create Deal

Creates a deal for every booking:

  • Pipeline: Select which pipeline to use
  • Stage: Set the stage for new deals

Without a stage, the deal goes into the first stage of your default pipeline.

Add to Open Deal

Links the meeting to the contact's most recently changed open deal instead of creating a new one. Useful for follow-up calls.

Routing Forms

Routing forms can create or update Zoho CRM contacts on submission. Turn it on under CRM Integration in the form settings.

How Records Are Created

When a booking is confirmed:

  1. Contact: found by email, then updated, or created
  2. Deal (if enabled): created with your pipeline and stage, linked to the contact
  3. Meeting: created with the booking's time, title and video link, linked to the contact and deal

Records are assigned to the Zoho user with the same email as the host. Syncing runs in the background after the booking, so a Zoho problem never blocks a booking.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect Needed

The Zoho CRM card shows Reconnect needed when Zoho no longer accepts meetergo's access, for example after the app was removed in Zoho or the authorizing user was deactivated. Syncing pauses until you click Reconnect. Your meeting type settings stay intact.

Contacts Not Creating

  1. Verify Contact sync is enabled on the meeting type
  2. Check that the connection does not show Reconnect needed
  3. Search Zoho by email to see if the contact already exists

Deals Not Creating

  1. Verify Create deal is enabled
  2. Make sure the selected pipeline and stage still exist in Zoho. If not, the meeting type settings say so. Select them again.
