Connecting alfaview
Create alfaview meetings for your bookings automatically
alfaview is a GDPR-compliant video conferencing solution made in Stuttgart, Germany. With meetergo you can use alfaview as a meeting location, so every booking gets its own time-boxed alfaview meeting and a join link for your guest.
alfaview always needs a connection. Meetings are created through the alfaview API with your company's API key. There is no anonymous mode.
What you'll need
You need an alfaview account with admin access to your company's administration interface, and a plan that includes API access. Then create an API key:
- Log in to the alfaview administration interface.
- Click Company in the menu on the left.
- Open the API keys tab.
- Enter a name in the Alias field and click Create.
Save the three values shown: the account ID, the alias, and the code (the API key itself).
Connecting in meetergo
- In meetergo, go to Integrations & Apps.
- Find alfaview and click on it.
- Fill in the account ID, alias, and API key, then click Connect.
meetergo checks the credentials against the alfaview API. Once connected, you'll see a green "Connected" status.
Using alfaview in your meeting types
- Go to Meeting Types and open the meeting type you want to configure.
- In the Venue section, select alfaview.
- Save your changes.
When someone books this meeting type, meetergo creates an alfaview meeting at the booked time and adds the participant join link to the confirmation. Attendees join straight from the link in their browser or the alfaview app, no alfaview account required.
If you move or cancel a booking in meetergo, the alfaview meeting is updated or cancelled too.
FAQ
Where do I find my API credentials?
In the alfaview administration interface under Company > API keys. See the alfaview guide on API credentials.
The API keys tab is missing
API access depends on your alfaview plan. Ask alfaview support if you can't see the tab.
Do attendees need an alfaview account?
No. Each booking gets a join link that attendees open without an account.
Is the connection per user or per company?
Per user. Each team member who hosts alfaview meetings connects their own alfaview company's API key.
