Connecting kMeet (Infomaniak)

Link your Infomaniak account to create kMeet video rooms tied to your calendar

Updated on February 17, 2026

kMeet is Infomaniak's privacy-focused video conferencing solution. With meetergo, you can use kMeet in two ways: without any account (anonymous rooms) or connected to your Infomaniak account so that rooms are created via the API and appear in your Infomaniak Calendar.

Using kMeet without an account

kMeet works out of the box with no setup required. Simply select kMeet as the venue in your meeting type, and meetergo will generate a unique kMeet room link for every booking. No Infomaniak account needed.

Connecting your Infomaniak account

By connecting your Infomaniak account, rooms are created through the Infomaniak API. This means:

  • Meetings appear in your Infomaniak Calendar
  • You can configure room options (lobby, recording, password, etc.)
  • Rooms are linked to your account

Step 1: Create a personal access token

  1. Go to Infomaniak Token Manager
  2. Click Create a token
  3. Give it a name (e.g., "meetergo")
  4. Make sure the workspace:calendar scope is enabled
  5. Copy the generated token

Step 2: Connect in meetergo

  1. In meetergo, go to Integrations & Apps
  2. Find kMeet and click on it
  3. Paste your access token and click Connect

meetergo will validate the token and automatically select your default Infomaniak Calendar. Once connected, you'll see a green "Connected" status.

Configuring room options

After connecting, you can customize how kMeet rooms behave for your bookings:

  • Waiting room (lobby) -- Participants wait until the host admits them
  • Moderator video -- Whether the moderator's camera is on by default
  • Start with audio muted -- Participants join with microphone off
  • Audio only -- No video, voice-only meetings
  • End-to-end encryption -- Full E2EE for maximum privacy
  • Password protected -- Require a password to join the room
  • Recording -- Automatically record meetings (requires a kDrive ID)

Changing the calendar

If you have multiple Infomaniak calendars, you can choose which one kMeet events are created in. Use the calendar dropdown in the kMeet settings.

Custom domain

If you have a custom kMeet domain (e.g., kmeet.yourdomain.com), enter just the domain part (e.g., yourdomain.com) in the Custom Domain field.

Using kMeet in your meeting types

  1. Go to Meeting Types and open the meeting type you want to configure
  2. In the Venue section, select kMeet
  3. Save your changes

When someone books this meeting type, meetergo will create a kMeet room. If your Infomaniak account is connected, the room is created via the API. If not, an anonymous room link is generated instead.

FAQ

Do I need an Infomaniak account to use kMeet?

No. kMeet works without any account -- meetergo generates anonymous room links automatically. Connecting your Infomaniak account is optional and adds features like calendar integration and room options.

What happens if my token expires or is revoked?

meetergo will automatically fall back to generating anonymous room links. Your bookings won't fail. You can reconnect at any time by entering a new token in the kMeet settings.

Can different team members connect their own Infomaniak accounts?

Yes. The kMeet connection is per user, not per company. Each team member can connect their own Infomaniak account with their own token and calendar.

Where do I find my kDrive ID?

Log in to Infomaniak Manager, go to your kDrive, and look for the ID in the URL or kDrive settings page.
