How to Start an Instant Video Call

Sometimes you don't have time to send out a booking link — you just need to jump on a call. With meetergo Connect, you can create an instant video room in two clicks, share the link, and start talking. No downloads, no accounts for your guests, and a fully peer-to-peer connection.

Option 1: Start from the sidebar

The fastest way to launch a call from anywhere in your dashboard:

1. Log in to your meetergo account.
2. Click the New button at the top of the sidebar.
3. From the dropdown, select Start instant call.
4. You'll be redirected to a freshly created private video room.
5. Use the Copy link button to grab the room URL and share it with your participants.

Option 2: Use the Instant Video Rooms page

For a dedicated workspace with room management:

1. Open the Instant Video Rooms page from the sidebar.
2. Click Create Video Room.
3. The room link appears immediately — use Copy link to share it or Join Room to enter.
4. Need another one? Click New Room to create a fresh link.

Sharing the link

Once you have the link, send it through any channel — chat, email, or even SMS. Your guests:

• Don't need a meetergo account to join.
• Don't need to install anything — calls run in the browser.
• Get end-to-end encrypted, peer-to-peer audio and video for privacy.

Troubleshooting

The "Start instant call" option is missing. Your plan likely doesn't include meetergo Connect. Upgrade to the Growth plan or higher in Subscription settings.
