Resolving Missing Meeting Link Errors
When you receive a notification about a missing meeting link, don't worry! This article will guide you through the simple steps to fix the issue and ensure your appointments have the correct video conferencing links.
What Happened?
Your video conferencing connection (like Google Meet or Microsoft Teams) was temporarily disconnected. This is the same type of disconnection that can affect calendar connections — it happens for security reasons outside of meetergo's control, such as provider updates or password changes.
For a full explanation of why connections get disconnected and how to prevent it, see Reconnecting Your Integrations After a Lost Connection.
How to Fix It
Step 1: Reconnect Your Video Conferencing
- Log in to your meetergo account and go to Integrations & Apps
- Find your video conferencing provider (e.g., Google Meet, Microsoft Teams)
- Click on the provider and follow the prompts to reconnect
Step 2: Add Missing Links to Affected Appointments
- Go to your conferencing provider and manually copy a meeting link
- Go to your Bookings
- Look for appointments with a warning icon - these are the ones missing a link
- Click the three dots next to the appointment and choose "Resolve Errors"
- Enter the missing meeting link in the provided field
To get the correct meeting link, open your video conferencing provider's website or app, create a new meeting, and copy the link.
Example: Getting a Link from Google Meet
- Go to meet.google.com
- Click "New Meeting"
- Select "Create a meeting for later"
- Copy the generated link
