What you need to join a meetergo Connect call

meetergo Connect runs in your web browser. There is nothing to download and nothing to install, and your participants do not need a meetergo account. They open the link in the invitation and they are in.

Everything you need

• A current browser. Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox all work. So do most browsers built on them, such as Brave, Opera or Vivaldi.
• A computer, phone or tablet. All of them work, and so does switching between them.
• Camera and microphone access. Your browser asks once when you join. Choose allow.
• A normal internet connection. Home internet or mobile data is fine. Connect adjusts quality automatically when the connection gets weaker.

That is the whole list. You do not need a particular operating system, a plugin, or a specific version number.

If something does not work

Nearly every problem comes down to one of three things:

1. Camera or microphone was blocked. The browser asked and the answer was no, or the question never appeared. Allow access and reload the page.
2. The browser is out of date. Update it to the current version and open the link again.
3. A company or university network is blocking the call. These networks sometimes block video calls for everyone. Joining over mobile data instead is the quickest test.

For company networks

If calls fail on a company network but work on mobile data, it is the firewall or proxy, not the browser. The network requirements page lists exactly what an IT department needs to allow, and can be forwarded as-is.
