Create a LinkedIn campaign

Create a campaign from a template, pick a lead list and senders, and get it ready to start.

Updated on October 3, 2026

A campaign takes the people on a lead list through LinkedIn steps, one by one: view their profile, like a post, send a connection request, then follow up with messages. It sends from one or more LinkedIn accounts of your team.

Before you start, you need a lead list and a connected LinkedIn account.

Create the campaign

  1. Open Conversations → Channels → LinkedIn and select the Campaigns tab.
  2. Click New campaign.
  3. Enter a Campaign name, for example "SaaS founders".
  4. Under Lead list, choose a list. You can also choose it later.
  5. Under Template, pick a starting point.
  6. Click Create campaign.

The campaign opens as a Draft. Nothing is sent until you click Start campaign.

Templates

TemplateWhat it does
Warm up, then connectViews the profile, likes a post a day later, then sends a request. Two messages once they accept.
Connect and follow upA request, then three messages over a week once they accept.
Nurture connectionsFor people you are already connected with. A profile view and a like, then a check-in and a follow-up message.
Follow up on engagementFor people who reacted to a post. A request with a note, then two messages.
Start from scratchAn empty sequence.

Templates come with message texts that use the lead's first name. Change them to your own words before you start.

Choose senders

  1. In the campaign header, open Send from these accounts.
  2. Tick one or more LinkedIn accounts.

You can add your own account. Admins can add any account of the company. Leads are spread across the senders and stay with theirs, so a conversation always continues from the same account.

Check the sequence

Click a step to edit it in the side panel. Changes save automatically. See Build a campaign sequence.

Ready to start

Start campaign works once the campaign has a lead list, a sender and at least one step, and every message has text or a voice note. Otherwise the header says what is missing. See Start, pause and edit a campaign.
