Import leads from a CSV file

Already have a list from another tool or an event? Upload it as a CSV file. This needs no LinkedIn plan.

Prepare the file

• One row per person, with a header row.
• Comma or semicolon as separator.
• A column with the LinkedIn profile URL is required. Name it LinkedIn URL. "Profile URL", "LinkedIn" or "LinkedIn Profil" work too.
• Optional columns: first name, last name, email, company and title. meetergo recognizes common English and German names, for example "First name", "Vorname", "Company", "Firma", "Position".

Profile URLs look like https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe.

Steps

1. Open Conversations → Channels → LinkedIn → Lead lists and click New list.
2. Pick CSV file and enter a List name.
3. Choose your file under CSV file.
4. Check the summary, for example "120 people with a LinkedIn profile".
5. Click Continue.

Good to know

• Rows without a LinkedIn profile URL are left out. The summary says how many.
• People already in your CRM are matched by their LinkedIn profile, so no duplicates are created.
• If meetergo finds no profile column, it says "No column with LinkedIn profile URLs found". Rename the column to LinkedIn URL and try again.
