Find leads with LinkedIn Signals
Every morning, meetergo lists the people who engaged with your competitors, your company or the creators your buyers follow, and keeps only those who fit.
Someone who comments on a competitor's post is looking at the problem you solve. Signals finds these people every morning, checks them against who counts as a lead, and lists them for you to add to a lead list or a campaign.
The four signals
| Signal | Who shows up |
|---|---|
| Competitor engagement | People who liked or commented on posts of up to 5 competitors and up to 3 team members of each |
| Engaging with you | People who engaged with your company page or your team's posts |
| Voices in your market | People who engaged with up to 10 creators your buyers follow |
| Website visitors | People at companies that visited your website. Needs Webmetic |
Open Conversations → Channels → LinkedIn and select the Signals tab.
Set it up
Only company admins change the setup. Click Set up on the Signals tab.
- Under Competitors, paste the LinkedIn company page of a competitor, like
linkedin.com/company/name, and click Add. - Open a competitor and click Suggest people to watch the team members who post most. You can also paste a profile link.
- Add your own company page under Your company and creators under Voices.
- Under Who counts as a lead, add job titles and pick company sizes and countries. Leave a field empty to accept everyone.
- Under What happens with new leads, pick Review first or Automatic.
- Under Checks, pick the LinkedIn account the checks run on and turn on the signals you want.
- Click Save.
Your competitors' staff and your own team never show up as leads.
Review new leads
Each row shows the person, what they did (for example Commented on a Calendly post, with the comment) and how well they fit:
- Strong fit: every criterion you set matched.
- Good fit: the job title matched. Country or company size is not known yet.
Then:
- Add to list puts the person in a lead list and makes them a CRM contact.
- Select several people and click Start campaign to add them to a list and open the campaign builder for it.
- Dismiss hides a person. Restore them from the Dismissed tab.
Click a competitor next to Watching to see only their engagement.
Automatic mode
In Automatic, people with a strong fit go straight into the lead list you pick, up to your daily limit. The rest wait for the next day. If a campaign runs on that list, they start the campaign.
Use the Signal source variable, {{signal.source}}, in a campaign message to name the competitor or creator the person engaged with.
Good to know
- Checks run every morning and read LinkedIn slowly, like a person scrolling. Admins can click Check now to start them earlier.
- Up to 500 people are checked per company and day. The reads count toward the daily limit of the account the checks run on.
- New and dismissed people are deleted after 90 days. People you added stay.
