Connect STRATO for newsletters

Find the login details for STRATO and connect it to meetergo Newsletter.

Updated on September 8, 2026

Open Newsletter → Mailboxes → Connect mailbox, enter your sender name and email address, then choose STRATO.

Find your login details

Use the full mailbox address and its email password from your STRATO email administration. Use port 465 with SSL/TLS for a normal mailbox. Port 587 is for STRATO relay scenarios, so keep the preset for this setup.

Provider instructions.

Connection details

ProtocolServerPortEncryption
SMTPsmtp.strato.de465SSL/TLS
IMAPimap.strato.de993SSL/TLS

Test and check the domain

Select Continue, then Connect and test. The test sends an email to your meetergo account address. If it fails, return to the login step, correct the details and test again.

For your own domain, run Check DNS. Copy suggested TXT records into your DNS host only after checking existing entries. Keep a single SPF record and preserve other sending services. Use the provider’s domain settings for the exact DKIM records. Freemail addresses skip this step.

Sending limits

meetergo starts at 200 emails per hour, with warm-up enabled. This is a starting setting, not your provider’s quota. Check your account’s daily allowance and include mail sent outside meetergo. The hourly limit does not enforce a daily quota. Adjust it under Edit → Sending limit.

To stop using this mailbox, remove it from the Mailboxes page. For a new password, edit the mailbox and test again.
