Partner access, handover, and revocation

Understand portal access, customer workspace access, commercial handover, and approval revocation.

Updated on August 28, 2026

Partner program approval and customer workspace access solve different problems. Approval lets admins of your company use the native Partner portal. Partner access lets those admins help inside a managed customer workspace.

Who can use the Partner portal

The portal is available when you are:

  • an admin of the approved Partner company
  • signed into that company as your active workspace
  • still covered by an active Partner approval

It is not available to regular members, pending or rejected applicants, revoked companies, or a Partner currently viewing a customer workspace.

Cello is also not a fallback. It belongs only to normal-user affiliates and is not available to an approved native Partner company.

Open a customer workspace

Open Partner portal > Customers and select Open workspace. meetergo switches your existing sign-in into the customer's separate workspace through Partner access.

Partner access:

  • does not consume a licensed customer seat
  • does not transfer ownership of the company or customer data
  • does not reveal customer payment methods or direct-billing invoices
  • does not make your user the customer's login identity

Use your own account. Never ask for or share a customer password.

Customer-user access changes

From Manage users, a Partner admin may cancel eligible pending invitations and remove eligible active users. Owners, protected admins, and Partner access cannot be removed there. An active user who owns customer resources must transfer or remove those resources first.

Removing one user does not change who pays for the customer. It also does not rewrite an earlier frozen statement.

Customer admins manage Partner users through the customer workspace controls. Removing one person's Partner access does not delete that person's own company account or end the commercial relationship.

Handover, billing changes, closure, and restore

These relationship changes are carried out by meetergo staff. Contact support to:

  • change Customer pays meetergo to Partner pays meetergo
  • change Partner pays meetergo to Customer pays meetergo
  • hand a managed customer over to the customer
  • close a managed relationship and settle its billing
  • restore a handed-over or closed relationship under its saved payer

An existing workspace cannot be attached to a Partner relationship, and a managed relationship cannot be moved directly to another Partner. Include both company names, the requested action, and the reason. Continue the existing service and payment arrangement until meetergo confirms the change.

What revocation changes

Revoking Partner approval blocks the portal, new referrals, and new customer provisioning. It does not automatically:

  • delete customer workspaces or users
  • remove customer access to meetergo
  • close subscriptions or managed relationships
  • cancel accrued statements, invoices, credits, or payment obligations
  • transfer ownership or billing responsibility

A later revocation does not stop a complete earlier month from being frozen or collected. Contact support to review every active customer and obtain any billing records you can no longer open in the portal.

Reactivation

Only meetergo staff can reactivate a revoked Partner approval. Reactivation restores portal access for eligible company admins. It does not reverse customer, user, statement, or invoice changes made while access was revoked.
