Create and set up a customer workspace

Create a separate workspace, choose who pays meetergo, and invite the first customer admin securely.

Updated on August 28, 2026

After meetergo configures an approved Partner's commercial terms, its admins can create a separate workspace for each customer. The customer gets its own company boundary, users, settings, and billing relationship. Your company receives free Partner access for setup and support.

Before you begin

Collect:

  • the customer's company name
  • the first admin's first name, last name, and business email
  • the workspace language and time zone
  • Customer pays meetergo or Partner pays meetergo
  • who handles customer communication
  • business email addresses for any additional Standard users
  • for Partner pays meetergo, the customer plan and optional customer price for your commercial overview

Read Refer or Resell: choose who pays meetergo first. You cannot change who pays in self-service after creation.

For Partner pays meetergo, your effective Partner level must be Silver or higher. First add the Partner company's default payment method under Partner portal > Billing. meetergo uses Stripe to collect the consolidated monthly invoice automatically. The selected customer plan determines the public monthly price before the discount for your effective level.

Create the workspace

  1. Open Partner portal in your own company workspace and select Add customer.
  2. Enter the customer company, first admin, language, and time zone.
  3. Choose Customer pays meetergo or Partner pays meetergo.
  4. For Partner pays meetergo, choose the plan and optionally record your customer price per seat and month.
  5. Choose whether your company or meetergo handles customer communication.
  6. Optionally enter more user email addresses, confirm that you may share the contact details, and review the setup.
  7. Select Create workspace.

meetergo creates the workspace and the first admin seat together, stores a secure invitation, attempts email delivery, and adds your company through Partner access.

The request is protected against an accidental retry creating a second workspace. Even so, if the result is unclear, refresh the customer list before trying again.

Understand the creation result

The confirmation distinguishes workspace creation from email delivery:

  • If the customer appears and the invitation is pending, the workspace, user, and invitation were stored.
  • If email delivery failed, retry the same address from Manage users. Do not recreate the workspace.
  • If an additional address could not be processed, correct and retry only that address.
  • If the workspace itself was not created, the result explains what needs attention. Contact support before repeating an unclear request.

Invite more users

Open Customers, choose Manage users, enter one or more email addresses, and select Invite users. These email invitations create Standard users. Create a bookable Resource, such as a room or equipment, from inside the customer workspace.

A pending Standard user is already provisioned. For Partner pays meetergo, that pending seat is included in the current estimate and can be included in the month-end statement, even when the email was not delivered.

Open and configure the workspace

From Customers, select Open workspace. Partner access lets you configure features available on the customer plan without the customer's credentials.

Partner access:

  • uses your own meetergo sign-in
  • does not consume a billable customer seat
  • does not transfer ownership of customer data
  • does not reveal customer payment methods or direct-billing invoices

Switch back to your own company before returning to the Partner portal.

Existing workspaces and later relationship changes

The flow creates a new workspace. An existing company cannot be attached to a Partner relationship. Contact meetergo support to change who pays, hand the customer over to the customer, close the managed relationship, or restore an ended relationship.

Removing Partner access alone does not close the customer or end financial obligations.
