Set up customer workspaces with Claude or ChatGPT via meetergo MCP

Connect your AI assistant with your Partner API key. It lists and creates customer workspaces, works inside one customer at a time, and asks you before every change.

Updated on September 30, 2026

With the meetergo MCP server, your AI assistant sets up customer workspaces for you. It creates the workspace from an industry template, reads the customer's website, proposes meeting types and booking page texts, and writes them after you approve. You stay the one who builds the workspace. The assistant just does the clicking.

Connect

The hosted endpoint is:

https://mcp.meetergo.com/mcp

Send your Partner API key as the bearer token.

Claude Code

claude mcp add meetergo-partner --transport http https://mcp.meetergo.com/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer mgp_YOUR_KEY"

Claude Desktop, Cursor and other clients with a config file

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "meetergo-partner": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@meetergo/mcp-server"],
      "env": { "MEETERGO_TOKEN": "mgp_YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

ChatGPT and other connector dialogs: use a connector that lets you set the Authorization: Bearer mgp_… header. Signing in with your meetergo account (OAuth) connects your own workspace, not your customers. Partner tools need the Partner API key.

What the assistant can do

ToolWhat it does
list_customersLists your customer workspaces.
get_customerShows one customer and its users.
create_customerCreates a workspace, optionally from a template. Asks you first.
use_customerSelects the customer that all other tools work in.
current_workspaceSays which customer is selected.
invite_customer_usersSends the meetergo invite to more users.

After use_customer, the normal tools work inside that customer: meeting types, availability, booking page, routing forms, contacts and knowledge. get_me always names the selected customer.

The prompt partner-onboard-customer runs the whole flow: brief, create with template, read the website, propose, your approval, write, test the booking link, and a handover email draft.

Example conversation

You: Set up Elektro Weber. 3 electricians, site visits and phone consultations. Admin is Anna Weber, anna@elektro-weber.de. We pay, Suite plan. Website: elektro-weber.de

Assistant: Elektro Weber is not a customer yet. I would create: Elektro Weber, admin Anna Weber (anna@elektro-weber.de), paid by you on the Suite plan (on your monthly Partner invoice), template "craftsmen", German, Europe/Berlin. Anna gets the meetergo invite email. Shall I create this workspace?

You: Yes.

Assistant: Created and selected. I am now working in Elektro Weber. The template added "Vor-Ort-Termin" (60 min), "Angebotsbesichtigung" (45 min) and "Rückruf" (15 min). From the website I suggest a new "Telefonische Beratung" (20 min) and a booking page text about the emergency service. Shall I apply this?

You: Yes, but make the consultation 30 minutes.

Assistant: Done. Here is the booking link with free times for tomorrow. Please make one test booking yourself. Below is a draft handover email to Anna for you to send.

Safety

  • You approve every change. The assistant proposes first and writes only after your yes. Creating a workspace that you pay for always needs an explicit confirmation.
  • One customer at a time. Every conversation starts with no customer selected, and write tools refuse until you choose one. Switching needs use_customer again.
  • No messages to the customer's contacts. Tools that email, text or book on behalf of the customer are not available with Partner access. The only email the assistant can trigger is the meetergo invite for users you name.
  • The customer sees your changes. Every change is recorded. The customer's admins see your recent API changes under Settings > Developer and can revoke your access any time.
  • Keep the key secret. Put it only in your own client config, never in a shared one. Anyone with the key can create workspaces billed to you. Revoke it under Partner portal > API.
  • Handover stays with meetergo. The assistant only drafts the handover email. Handing the workspace over to the customer is done by meetergo support. See Partner access, handover, and revocation.

Troubleshooting

"No customer workspace is selected": ask the assistant to list your customers and select one.

The assistant lost the selected customer: sessions end after 2 hours without activity. Select the customer again.

403 on a customer: the customer revoked Partner API access. Ask them to restore it under Settings > Developer.
