Refer or Resell: choose who pays meetergo
Compare tiered Refer commission with tiered Resell wholesale pricing before creating a customer.
Choose one billing relationship for each customer. This decides who pays meetergo and how your Partner company earns. It does not change ownership of customer data or your free Partner access.
Compare the models
| Refer | Resell | |
|---|---|---|
| Label in meetergo | Customer pays meetergo | Partner pays meetergo |
| Who pays meetergo? | The customer | Your Partner company |
| Who invoices the customer? | meetergo | Your company |
| Your commercial benefit | 20% to 35% Refer commission | 20% to 35% wholesale discount |
| Duration | First 12 months of eligible collected revenue | While the approved Resell relationship remains active |
| Partner Stripe invoice | No | One consolidated monthly invoice in arrears |
| Included in Partner seat statements | No | Yes, from the Berlin month-end snapshot |
| Free Partner workspace access | Yes | Yes |
The models never stack for one customer. There is no Refer commission on a Resell customer, and neither model combines with Cello or an ordinary-user affiliate reward.
Refer: Customer pays meetergo
Choose Customer pays meetergo when the customer wants a direct subscription and billing relationship with meetergo.
- The customer chooses its subscription and manages its payment method.
- meetergo invoices and collects payment from the customer.
- You can earn 20% to 35% of eligible collected net recurring software revenue for the first 12 months, based on your effective Partner level.
- Commission has a 45-day hold and a EUR 100 payout threshold.
- Customer users do not enter your Partner seat estimate or monthly Stripe invoice.
- Partner access does not reveal customer payment methods or invoices.
A submitted referral must be accepted and linked to the paying customer. A referral status alone does not create commission or a customer workspace.
Resell: Partner pays meetergo
Choose Partner pays meetergo when your company wants to own the commercial customer relationship.
- Resell requires an effective Partner level of Silver or higher.
- Your company receives a 20% to 35% wholesale discount from current public monthly Light, Suite, or Premium prices, based on that level.
- meetergo freezes eligible seats at the end of each Berlin calendar month.
- Stripe issues one consolidated invoice to your Partner company and automatically charges its default payment method.
- Your company decides what to charge the customer, sends its own customer invoice, and collects that payment.
- Your margin is the difference between your customer price and the wholesale cost. It is not a Refer commission.
Set up the Partner company's payment method before creating a Partner-paid customer. Temporary meetergo promotions and annual discounts do not stack with the wholesale discount.

Decide before creating the customer
Use Refer when the customer wants to contract and pay meetergo directly. Use Resell when your company wants to package meetergo with its own services and accept responsibility for the monthly portfolio invoice.
Changing who pays is not self-service. Contact meetergo support instead of deleting or recreating a customer.
