Column rules

Start the timer when a task lands in a column, and see the Workflows that run for a column.

A column can do something when a task lands in it. These rules are Workflows, so they show up in Workflows too.

Start the timer in a column

Click the lightning icon in a column header.
In When a task lands here, switch on Start timer.

From then on the timer starts for the assigned person when a task moves into that column. This rule is internal and never contacts anyone.

Other rules for a column

The same panel lists every other Workflow that runs for the column and whether it is active or paused. Click one to open it in Workflows.

A Workflow started by a project never messages a customer by itself. A message to a customer waits in Approvals until someone approves it.

Only admins change rules. Everyone sees them.
