Planning and timeline
Capacity per person and week, plan project hours by dragging, and the project timeline with conflicts.
Planning shows who works on what before it gets tight. It is part of the Premium plan and the mode Projects with tasks.
Capacity
Time & Projects → Team → Capacity shows each person per week: target hours, minus absences, holidays and appointments, next to the planned project hours.
- Drag a project onto a person and week to plan hours. Undo takes it back.
- Who has time? shows free hours.
- Cells turn amber from 80 % and red over 100 %.
Absences show as "absent". The reason is never shown.
Timeline
The Timeline view under a project's Tasks shows its tasks on a calendar, grouped by column or by milestone.
- Drag a bar to move a task, or stretch it to change its length. The arrow keys move it by one day.
- Draw in an empty row to schedule a task that has no dates yet.
- Switch the zoom between weeks and months.
A Conflict appears when a task starts before the task it waits for is done, when the assigned person is away, or when a task ends after its milestone. Click Move to a suggested date to fix it in one click. You can undo it.
