Time-only members

Members who only record their own working time and absences, billed as a normal Light seat.

Updated on October 30, 2026

A time-only member records their own working time and absences and sees nothing else in meetergo. It suits staff on the shop floor, in a warehouse or in the field.

What they see

  • On My time, their own Hour account and Absences, including the team's absence calendar
  • In the mobile app and the browser extension: the time clock, absences and their own account

No bookings, CRM, inbox or projects. The restriction is enforced by our API, not only hidden in the dashboard. A time-only member cannot be booked and does not appear in host pickers.

Billing

A time-only member counts as a normal Light seat. There is no separate price.

Add a time-only member

  1. Open Team and click to add a member.
  2. Pick Time tracking only.
  3. Choose how the person clocks:
    • With login: they get an invitation by email and clock in the web, the app or the extension.
    • Without login: they clock only with their personal clock link, for example on a tablet at work. The email is optional.

Time-only members are available from the Light plan. Clock links need Suite.

Change later

In the team table you can:

  • Invite to a login for a member without one. Everything recorded so far stays.
  • Make a full team member. They get the full dashboard.
  • Switch to time tracking only for a standard member. Admins cannot be switched. A member who still hosts active meeting types or sits in a round robin must be removed from those first.
