Importing Forms from Another Provider

Updated on March 5, 2026

If you already have forms built in another tool, you can import them directly into meetergo instead of recreating them from scratch. meetergo reads the form structure from your existing provider and converts all fields and conditional logic into a native meetergo routing form automatically.

How to Import a Form

  1. Go to Routing Forms in meetergo.
  2. Click + New Form.
  3. In the form creation dialog, select Import from another provider.
  4. Choose your form structure type (Funnel or Form — this determines the visual layout in meetergo).
  5. Paste the link to your existing form in the input field. Use the respondent-facing URL — the link you would normally send to someone to fill out the form.
  6. Click Import.

meetergo fetches the form structure and creates a new routing form with all the original fields, options, and conditional logic converted to meetergo equivalents.

Once the import is complete, the form editor opens and you can review, edit, and publish the imported form.

What Gets Imported

ElementImported
Field labels and question textYes
Field types (text, multiple choice, etc.)Yes, mapped to the nearest meetergo equivalent
Answer options (for dropdowns, radio buttons)Yes
Required/optional settingYes
Conditional logic (show/hide rules)Yes
Multi-page / slide structureYes

What Is Not Imported

Some provider-specific features may not have a direct meetergo equivalent:

  • Provider-specific field types with no meetergo equivalent are skipped or converted to a plain text field
  • Styling, colors, and branding from the original provider
  • Media attachments (images, videos) embedded in the original form
  • Submission history and existing responses

After Importing

Once your form is imported:

  1. Review all fields — confirm labels, field types, and required settings are correct.
  2. Check conditional logic — open each condition to verify it mapped as expected.
  3. Add routing rules — imported forms include the fields, but not the routing destinations. Set up your routing rules to direct respondents to the right meeting type or outcome.
  4. Configure notifications — add email notifications for new submissions.
  5. Publish — share the form via link, embed it on your website, or send it directly to recipients.

FAQ

Where do I find the form URL to paste?

Use the respondent-facing link — the URL you would send to someone to fill out the form, not the admin or edit URL. Check your current provider's share or publish settings to find it.

What happens if the import fails?

If meetergo cannot read the form structure (e.g. the URL is invalid, the form is private, or the provider format is not supported), an error message is shown. Double-check that you are using the correct respondent link. If the problem persists, contact meetergo support.

Will importing a form affect the original?

No. meetergo only reads the form structure — it does not modify or delete anything in your current provider.

Can I import the same form multiple times?

Yes. Each import creates a new meetergo form. If you re-import after making changes in the original, you'll get a fresh copy with the latest structure, separate from any previously imported version.

Is there a limit on how many forms I can import?

Imports count towards your routing form limit on your plan. There is no separate limit for imports.
