How to Schedule Webinars with meetergo

Schedule a webinar as a group meeting type limited to a dedicated availability schedule, then share or embed the registration link.

Updated on August 19, 2025

A webinar in meetergo is a group meeting type pointed at a schedule that only opens the session times. This article puts the pieces together; each piece has its own detailed guide.

Step 1: Create a schedule that only covers your webinar times

Create a separate availability schedule, for example "Webinar", and give it just the days and hours you run sessions, such as Wednesday to Friday from 10:00 to 11:00. For a one-off webinar on a fixed date, leave the weekly hours empty and add an availability exception for that date instead. See Availability Exceptions for how exceptions and weekly hours interact.

Step 2: Create the group meeting type

Create a meeting type, choose Group Meeting, and set the number of spots per time slot to the maximum number of attendees you want. Then open the Availability tab and assign the schedule from Step 1. Creating a Group Meeting Type covers the full setup, including how to show remaining spots on the booking page and whether attendees may bring guests.

Copy the booking link from your meeting type list and share it by email, newsletter, or social media. To let visitors register without leaving your site, embed the booking widget instead. See How to embed the meetergo booking widget on your website.
