Meeting Polls: Results View, Deadlines and Who Owns a Poll
How meeting polls work, where to find the poll results view, why you only see the participant view, and what a poll needs a meetergo account for
meetergo meeting polls streamline group scheduling by letting everyone vote on their preferred meeting times. Instead of endless back-and-forth messages, you propose multiple time slots, invitees vote on what works best for them, and you select the winning option. meetergo handles all the calendar invitations and meeting details automatically.
Where to find the poll results
There is no separate master link for the poll creator. The link you send out and the link that shows the results are the same address:
https://my.meetergo.com/poll/<poll id>
When meetergo recognizes you as the creator, the same page adds a host bar at the top (Manage, Send invitations, Share) and shows every vote. When it does not, you see the plain participant view: the proposed times and the option to vote.
Two ways to open the results:
- Signed in: open Polls in your meetergo dashboard and click the poll. Only polls that belong to your account are listed here.
- Not signed in: open the poll link itself. You must use the same browser you created the poll in (see below).
If you created your poll with the free poll tool on the meetergo website, the results view is still my.meetergo.com/poll/<poll id>. Take the poll id out of the link you shared and open that address.
Polls you created without an account
You can create a poll without a meetergo account. Keep the original poll link and use the same browser to return to it. No separate organizer access email is sent when you create the poll.
Save a guest poll to your account
For newly created guest polls, the browser keeps private proof of ownership. Open the poll in that browser and choose Create an account or sign in. You can use an existing account. After signing in, open the poll or Polls to save it to your account. If saving fails, use Try again in that browser.
Older guest polls may not have this private proof and cannot be linked automatically. Registering another account will not resolve this.
Already registered, but the poll is missing?
Open the original poll link in the browser where you created it. If the poll is still missing from your account, contact support with the original poll link and your account email. We will check ownership and whether the existing poll can be linked to your account.
Clearing browser data or switching devices can remove automatic access. This does not delete the poll or its votes. Contact support before creating a replacement poll. The public poll link alone is not proof of ownership.

Poll settings and plans
Three settings are available once you are signed in on a paid plan (Light or higher). On the Free plan they carry a Pro badge and open the upgrade dialog instead.

Without a deadline a poll simply stays open until you book a time or delete it.
Seeing names does not require an upgrade. The signed-in account that owns the poll can see participant names even when Hide participant list is enabled. Creating a poll without an account does not by itself hide names. If signing in does not restore the names, check that the poll belongs to that account.
Good use cases for meeting polls
- Organizing team meetings or project reviews
- Scheduling brainstorming sessions with multiple participants
- Coordinating feedback sessions with clients or stakeholders
- Planning social gatherings with friends or family members
- Setting up interviews with multiple interviewers
If you already know which few slots you want to offer and want the invitee to book one straight into your calendar, use Booking proposals instead.
How the voting process works
Share your poll link with anyone you want to include. they don't need accounts or special access to participate. Invitees click the link, review the proposed times, and select their preferences. You can track responses in real time; the results view refreshes itself while it is open.
When you're ready to lock in a time, you have two options: Book the meeting as a full appointment, or use Send invitations to email a calendar invitation directly to everyone who accepted the winning slot. See Setting Up a Meeting Poll for both flows.
Workflows and rescheduling are not supported for polls. Once you book the winning time it becomes a normal meetergo booking and behaves like any other booking from there on.
FAQ
I opened my poll link and only see the times, not the results
meetergo does not recognize you as the creator in that browser. Open the poll in the browser you created it in, or sign in to the account that owns the poll. See Polls you created without an account.
Where do I get the master link for evaluating my poll?
There is none. The results view is the poll link itself, my.meetergo.com/poll/<poll id>, shown with host controls once meetergo recognizes you as the creator.
Can I add or remove time slots after people have voted?
Yes, as the signed-in owner: Manage → Edit. Removing an option also deletes the votes that were cast for it, so participants may need to vote again.
Can I extend the voting deadline?
Yes. Open Manage → Edit and change the deadline, or switch Set deadline off to keep the poll open indefinitely.
What happens if not everyone votes?
You can still book based on the responses you received. If a key participant hasn't voted, follow up directly or add them manually when you book the meeting.
Can I create multiple polls for the same meeting?
Yes. Create a new poll with different time slots and share it with the same or a different group. Manage → Duplicate copies an existing poll including its settings.
