Managing Add-on Licenses
Learn how to assign CRM and Deal Spaces licenses to specific team members
meetergo's add-on subscriptions (Sales CRM, Deal Spaces & Resource Hubs) are priced per seat. Instead of paying for every scheduling user in your organization, you can purchase only the number of licenses you need and assign them to specific team members.
How License Assignment Works
When you purchase an add-on subscription, you choose how many seats (licenses) to buy. You can then assign those licenses to the users who actually need the feature. Users without a license will have limited or no access to the add-on features.
- CRM licenses: 1 license = 1 user
- Deal Spaces & Resource Hubs licenses: 1 workspace = 2 users
If you don't assign any specific users, all team members have access to the add-on by default. License restrictions only apply once you explicitly assign users.
Assigning CRM Licenses
- Go to Billing
- Scroll down to the Add-ons section
- Find the Sales CRM card and click Manage licenses
- In the license assignment modal, you'll see all your team members listed
- Check the boxes next to the users who should have CRM access
- The counter at the top shows how many licenses are used vs. available
- Click Save to apply the changes
Once you assign specific users, only those users will have full CRM access. All other users will be restricted to the Contacts tab only.
Assigning Deal Spaces & Resource Hubs Licenses

- Find the Deal Spaces & Resource Hubs card and click Manage licenses
- Check the users who should have access
- Remember that each workspace covers 2 users — for example, 3 workspaces allow up to 6 users
- Click Save

Viewing Licenses on the Team Page
You can see which users have which licenses at a glance on the Team page.
When your company has active CRM or Hub subscriptions, a Licenses column appears in the user table showing colored badges:
- Blue CRM badge — user has an active CRM license
- Purple Hubs badge — user has an active Deal Spaces & Resource Hubs license
- Gray badge — user does not have that license
Use the Team page to quickly verify which users have licenses before making changes on the Billing page.
Free Tier Limits
Even without an add-on subscription, all users get limited access to CRM and Deal Spaces features:
| Feature | Free Limit |
|---|---|
| CRM deals | 10 deals |
| Deal spaces | 3 deal spaces |
| Resource hubs | 3 resource hubs |
These limits apply per company, not per user. Purchasing an add-on subscription and assigning a license removes these limits for the licensed users.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change license assignments at any time?
Yes, admins can reassign licenses at any time from the Billing page. Changes take effect immediately.
What happens to existing data if I remove a user's license?
Existing deals, contacts, and deal spaces are not deleted. The user simply loses the ability to create new ones beyond the free tier limits, and certain tabs become restricted.
Do I need to buy a license for every user?
No — that's the whole point of license assignment. Buy only what you need. For example, if you have 20 scheduling users but only 5 use the CRM, you can purchase 5 CRM seats and assign them to those 5 users.
What if no licenses are assigned?
If you have an active add-on subscription but haven't assigned any specific users, all team members have full access. The restriction only kicks in once you explicitly assign at least one user.
