Partner Users on the Free Plan
Learn how partner access works on the meetergo free plan and what partners can do for your workspace
Partner users let you invite an external agency, consultant, or freelancer to manage your meetergo workspace — even on the free plan. Partners get admin access without counting toward your seat limit and without any extra cost.
What Is a Partner User?
A partner user is someone outside your organization who helps manage your meetergo account. Think of them as an external administrator — they can configure your meeting types, adjust settings, and keep your workspace running smoothly on your behalf.
Partners are ideal for:
- Agencies managing scheduling for multiple clients
- Virtual assistants setting up your booking pages
- Consultants helping you optimize your meeting workflows
- IT service providers administering your workspace
What Partners Can Do
Partners receive full admin access to your workspace. This includes:
- Create and edit meeting types
- Configure availability settings
- Manage integrations (calendars, video conferencing)
- Adjust company settings and branding
- Manage team members and groups
- Set up workflows and routing forms (if available on your plan)
What Partners Cannot Do
There are a few important limitations:
- Host meetings — Partners manage your workspace but cannot be booked for meetings themselves
- Access billing — Partners cannot view or change your subscription, payment methods, or invoices
- Use a seat — Partners don't count toward your user limit, so they won't affect your plan
On the free plan, you can invite up to 3 partner users. This limit applies across all plan tiers.
How to Invite a Partner
- Go to the Users page
- Click Invite partner
- Enter the partner's email address
- Click Send partner invitation
The partner will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they don't have a meetergo account yet, they can create one for free during the process.
You can track your partner slots at the top of the Users page. It shows how many of your available partner slots are currently used (e.g., 1/3 partners).
How Partners Access Your Workspace
Once a partner accepts your invitation, they can switch between their own meetergo account and your workspace at any time. They'll see your company in their account switcher and can manage it just like a regular admin — without needing separate login credentials.
Free Plan Features Available to Partners
Partners manage whatever features your plan includes. On the free plan (Basic), your workspace includes:
- 1 active meeting type
- 1 linked calendar per user
- Google, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and iCloud calendar sync
- Personalized booking link
- Website embedding
- Automated email notifications
- Meeting transcription (meetergo Log)
- Appointment polls
- Digital business card
- Holiday manager
- Reschedule and cancellation handling
Some advanced features like workflows, payment collection, custom forms, and SMS reminders require a paid plan. Partners can configure these features only if your workspace is on a plan that includes them.
Removing a Partner
If you no longer need a partner's help:
- Go to the Users page
- Find the partner in the user list (they'll have a Partner badge)
- Click the menu (three dots) next to their name
- Select Remove
The partner will immediately lose access to your workspace. Their own meetergo account remains unaffected.
