How to Change Your Email Address: Login Email and Contact Email
Change the email address you sign in with, or set a separate contact email so attendees see and reply to your business address instead of your Google or Microsoft login address.
Keeping your contact information up-to-date is crucial for smooth communication. meetergo keeps two email addresses for you, and it's worth knowing which one you need before you change anything.
| Address | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Login email | The address you sign in with, and where meetergo sends your own notifications | Profile → Account Management → Change email |
| Contact email | The address attendee replies go to on booking emails and reminders, and the footer contact line if you own the account | Profile → Account Management → Set contact email |
If your goal is "attendees should not see my private or Google address", set a contact email. You do not need to change the address you sign in with. Jump to Setting a contact email.
Changing Your Email Address
- Log in to your meetergo account and go to your profile settings

- Scroll down to "**Account Management" **and select "Change email"

- Enter your new email address
- Click "Save Changes"

After saving your changes, meetergo will send a verification code to your new email address. This step is important to verify that you have access to the new email account and prevents unauthorized changes to your account.
Confirming Your New Email Address
- After clicking "Save Changes", a verification pop-up appears asking for a code

- Open your new email inbox in another tab or window
- Look for an email from meetergo with the subject "Your verification code"

- Copy the verification code from the email

- Return to the meetergo pop-up and paste the code in the "Email Verification" field
- Click "Confirm my account"
Once you've successfully entered the verification code, your new email address will be fully set up and ready to use with meetergo. The system immediately recognizes your verified email as your primary contact method.
What Happens Next
After confirming your new email address, all future communications from meetergo will be sent to this address. This includes booking notifications, reminders, cancellation alerts, and system updates. Your login credentials will also be updated, so you'll need to use your new email address when signing in to meetergo.
Your booking links, meeting settings, and availability remain completely unchanged. Only your contact information and login method are updated with the new email address.
Setting a Contact Email
The contact email is the address your attendees see. Set one when you sign in with a private or personal account but want bookings to look and reply to your business address.
- Go to your profile settings
- Scroll to "Account Management" and click "Set contact email" (once set, the button shows the current address)
- Enter the address attendees should use
- Confirm the 6-digit code we send to that address
Once verified, attendee replies to booking emails and reminders go to the contact email instead of your login address. If you own the account, the contact line in the email footer uses it too. Your login email is untouched — you keep signing in with it, and your own notifications keep arriving there.
If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, "Change email" is disabled: that address is managed by your sign-in provider. The contact email is the way to change what attendees see.

FAQ
What if I don't receive the verification code email?
If you don't see the verification code email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder first. Email filters sometimes redirect verification emails. If you still can't find it, you can request a new verification code from the pop-up window.
Can I change my email address multiple times?
Yes, you can change your email address as often as needed. Just follow the same process each time you want to update it. Each change requires email verification for security purposes.
Will changing my email affect my existing bookings or settings?
No, changing your email address won't affect any of your existing bookings, meeting types, availability settings, or account history. It only updates where meetergo sends your notifications and how you log in to your account.
What happens to my old email address?
Your old email address will no longer receive meetergo notifications or work for logging in. However, any existing booking confirmations or calendar invites that were already sent to the old address will still be valid.
Can I use the same email for multiple meetergo accounts?
No, each email address can only be associated with one meetergo account. If you try to use an email that's already registered, you'll need to choose a different address or contact support for assistance.
Do I have to change my login email to change what attendees see?
No. Set a contact email instead. It replaces your login address on everything attendees see, while you keep signing in as before.
Can the contact email be a shared inbox like info@ or sales@?
Yes, as long as you can receive the 6-digit verification code there. If you only want replies for one specific booking page to go to a shared inbox, use the Custom Reply-To address on that meeting type instead — see Change Your Email Sender Address and Reply-To Address.
How do I secure the account this email signs in to?
Add a second step to your sign-in. The Two-factor authentication card sits right below Account Management on the same Profile page. See How to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.
