Purchasing additional storage

Learn how to buy more storage space for file uploads and attachments in meetergo.

As your usage of file uploads and email attachments grows, you may need additional storage space. This guide explains how to purchase more storage for your meetergo account.

Storage availability

Storage is available on Growth plans and higher. If you're on a lower plan, you'll need to upgrade to access file storage features.

Checking your current storage

  1. Go to Billing in your meetergo dashboard
  2. Find the Storage section
  3. View your current usage and total quota
  4. A progress bar shows the percentage of storage used

Purchasing additional storage

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. In the Storage section, click Buy Storage
  3. Enter the amount of additional storage in GB (minimum 1 GB)
  4. Review the monthly cost (€5 per GB)
  5. Click Buy now to proceed to checkout
  6. Complete the payment process

What counts toward storage?

Storage usage includes:

  • File uploads: Files uploaded to your Files library
  • Booking form uploads: Files uploaded by invitees through file upload fields
  • Custom backgrounds: Video call background images uploaded by your team

Managing your storage

View your files

  1. Go to Files in your dashboard
  2. See all files with their sizes
  3. Sort by size to identify large files

Delete unused files

  1. Go to the Files section
  2. Select files you no longer need
  3. Click Delete to remove them and free up space

Monitor usage over time

Check your storage usage regularly to:

  • Identify unexpected growth
  • Plan for additional storage needs
  • Clean up unused files proactively

Storage alerts

meetergo notifies you when storage is running low:

  • Email notification: Sent to account administrators when usage exceeds 80%
  • Dashboard warning: Visible on the billing page
  • Upload restrictions: New uploads may be blocked when storage is full

What happens when storage is full?

When you reach your storage limit:

  1. New file uploads are blocked
  2. Invitees cannot upload files through booking forms
  3. Existing files remain accessible
  4. You need to either delete files or purchase more storage

Can I reduce my storage subscription later?

Yes, you can adjust your storage amount from the billing settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Is there a maximum storage limit?

You can purchase up to 100 GB of additional storage through the self-service portal. For larger needs, contact support.

What happens to my files if I downgrade my plan?

If you downgrade to a plan without storage access, your files remain stored but you cannot upload new ones. Consider downloading important files before downgrading.

Are file uploads by invitees counted separately?

No, all files are counted toward your total storage quota, including files uploaded by invitees during booking.

How long are files kept?

Files remain in your storage until you delete them. There is no automatic expiration for stored files.
