How to Change the Default Country Code for Phone Fields
Set a custom default country code for phone number fields in your booking forms

By default, phone number fields in meetergo use Germany (+49) as the default country code. If your customers are primarily from another country, you can change this default to make booking easier for them.
How to Set a Custom Default Country Code
- Go to your Meeting Types
- Select the meeting type you want to edit
- Navigate to the Questions tab
- Find the phone number field and click on it to edit
- In the Default Country Code field, enter your preferred country code (e.g.,
+1for USA,+44for UK,+43for Austria) - Save your changes
Tip: The country code must start with
+followed by 1-4 digits. For example:+1,+49,+44,+971.

Where This Applies
The default country code setting applies to:
- Phone number fields on your booking pages
- Phone fields in routing forms
- Any custom phone question you add to your meeting types
When a visitor opens your booking page, the phone field will automatically show the country flag and code you specified, making it easier for them to enter their number.
