Lead Capture Mode
Collect contact information before showing available time slots to capture up to 200% more leads
Lead Capture Mode changes the order of your booking flow to collect contact information before showing your calendar. Instead of visitors seeing your availability first, they provide their details upfront, allowing you to capture leads even when they don't complete a booking.
This feature requires a Teams plan or higher.
Why Use Lead Capture Mode?
Traditional booking pages show availability first, then ask for contact details. The problem? Many visitors browse your calendar but leave without booking, and you never learn who they were.
Lead Capture Mode flips this around:
- Capture every visitor – Get contact details from everyone who starts your booking process, not just those who complete it
- Pre-qualify prospects – Review their information before they see your calendar
- Reduce no-shows – When people provide details first, they're more committed to completing the booking
- Build your contact list – Even visitors who don't book become leads you can follow up with
How It Works
With Lead Capture Mode enabled, your booking flow changes:
- Visitor lands on your booking page
- Visitor fills out your booking form (name, email, any custom questions)
- After submitting, your calendar appears with available time slots
- Visitor selects a time and confirms the booking
Without Lead Capture Mode, steps 2 and 3 are reversed – visitors see your calendar first and only provide details after selecting a time.
How to Enable Lead Capture Mode
- Go to your Meeting Types
- Select the Meeting Type you want to configure and click "Edit"
- Navigate to the "Power-Ups" tab
- Find "Lead Capture Mode" and toggle it on
- Click "Save"
Your booking page will now collect contact information before displaying your availability.
Setting Up Your Form
To make the most of Lead Capture Mode, customize the information you collect:
- In your Meeting Type settings, go to the "Booking Questions" tab
- Add custom fields to gather relevant information (company name, job title, project details, etc.)
- Mark fields as required if they're essential for qualifying leads
Keep your form short. Each additional field reduces conversion rates. Ask only what you truly need to qualify the lead.
Limitations
Lead Capture Mode is not available when using PayPal or Stripe payments. If you have payment enabled with these providers, you'll need to disable it to use Lead Capture Mode.
This is because payment flows require showing pricing and availability before collecting payment details.
FAQ
Will I lose leads who just want to see availability?
Some visitors may prefer to see your calendar first. However, studies show that capturing contact information upfront actually increases overall conversions because you can follow up with visitors who start but don't complete bookings.
Can I see leads who filled out the form but didn't book?
Yes. When Lead Capture Mode is enabled, contacts are created as soon as someone submits the form, regardless of whether they complete a booking. You can find these contacts in your Contacts page.
Does this work with routing forms?
Yes. Lead Capture Mode works alongside routing forms. The routing form questions appear first, followed by your booking form questions, then your calendar.
Can I customize what happens after they submit the form?
The booking flow continues to show your available time slots after form submission. For different routing logic, consider using Routing Forms to direct visitors to different destinations based on their answers.
