Send a WhatsApp message to many contacts
Filter your CRM contacts, pick a marketing template and send it to everyone at once. Each contact gets their own name, and the report shows who read and replied.
Write to all customers with one tag at once, for example everyone due for their annual review. Each contact gets the message with their own name, and replies land in your normal WhatsApp inbox.
You need a directly connected WhatsApp number and an approved marketing template. Create templates here.
Send a broadcast
- Open CRM → Contacts and narrow the list, for example with Filters → Tags.
- Tick the box in the table header. To take every match, not just this page, click Select all … matches.
- Click Send → WhatsApp message.
- Template: pick a marketing template. Templates that cannot be sent to many contacts show the reason.
- Personalize: choose a contact field for each variable, such as the first name, and a fallback for contacts where the field is empty. The preview on the right shows real contacts. Send test sends the message to your own phone.
- Review: check how many contacts get the message, then click Send or Schedule.
A broadcast reaches up to 5,000 contacts.
Who gets the message
meetergo skips contacts without a mobile number, contacts who opted out of WhatsApp (for example by replying STOP), contacts whose variable stays empty, and the second contact with the same number. The review shows each reason with a count, before anything is sent. Opt-outs are checked again right before sending.
Follow the result
Your broadcasts are listed in the Inbox under Campaigns → WhatsApp broadcasts. After sending, you land there directly. Replies arrive in the inbox as usual. A broadcast shows how many messages were sent, delivered, read, replied to, failed or skipped. Click a number to see those contacts.
- Pause stops sending and Resume continues where it stopped.
- Cancel broadcast stops it for good. Messages already sent stay sent.
- Send again to … who have not read it starts a new broadcast to exactly those contacts.
Meta limits how many marketing messages one person receives. Contacts held back by Meta are listed as skipped, not failed.
Costs
Meta charges every marketing message to your WhatsApp Business account. The review shows an estimate based on the German rate. See WhatsApp pricing.
