Deal Spaces: Overview & Getting Started
Use Deal Spaces to manage prospects and customers with collaborative hubs, stakeholder access, and enriched company profiles
A Deal Space is a dedicated, shared environment for managing a single deal or customer relationship. It brings together:
- Resource Hubs — curated content for the prospect
- Stakeholder access — invite the prospect's team to collaborate
- Company profile — enriched information about the prospect's business
- CRM context — linked to your deal in the meetergo CRM
Where a Resource Hub is a one-way presentation layer, a Deal Space is a two-way collaboration room. Prospects can leave comments, review materials, and your team can track engagement — all in one place.
Deal Spaces are available on all plans, with a limit of 3 Deal Spaces on free and lower-tier plans. Teams plan and above includes unlimited Deal Spaces.
Creating a Deal Space
From the Deal Spaces Section
- Navigate to Deal Spaces in the left sidebar
- Click New Deal Space
- Fill in the details:
- Name — the deal or account name (e.g., "Acme Corp Q3")
- Company — search for or create the prospect company
- Owner — the team member responsible for this deal
- Pipeline & Stage — link to your CRM pipeline
- Optionally select a playbook (a saved stage template to scaffold the deal process)
- Click Create
From a CRM Deal
If you already have a deal in the CRM, you can create an associated Deal Space directly:
- Open the CRM deal
- Click Create Deal Space
- The Deal Space is pre-populated with the deal's company and owner
Deal Space Layout
A Deal Space has three main tabs:
Main Tab
The primary view showing:
- Company profile card — logo, name, industry, social links, and contact info (automatically enriched if you have the enrichment feature)
- Attached Resource Hubs — all hubs linked to this deal space, with engagement metrics
- Deal overview — pipeline, stage, value, expected close date
Steps Tab
A structured checklist of deal stages and steps — your internal playbook for moving the deal forward. Each step can be marked as To Do, In Progress, Done, or Cancelled.
This is separate from the Resource Hub visible to the prospect. Steps in this tab are for your team's internal workflow.
Team Tab
Shows all team members with access to this Deal Space. Manage who can view and edit the deal:
- Click Add member
- Search for a colleague
- Select their role (Viewer / Editor)
- Click Add
Linking Resource Hubs
Each Deal Space can have one or more Resource Hubs attached:
- Open the Deal Space
- On the Main tab, click Add Resource Hub
- Choose an existing hub or create a new one
- The hub appears in the Deal Space with live engagement metrics
Create a dedicated hub per prospect with their company name in the title and slug. A personalized hub ("Your onboarding hub — Acme Corp") converts far better than a generic one.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Invite your prospect's team members directly into the Deal Space:
- Open the Deal Space
- Click Add stakeholder
- Enter the stakeholder's name, email, and their company
- Toggle Send invitation email to notify them immediately
- Click Add
Stakeholders receive a unique link with a one-time passcode. They can:
- Browse linked Resource Hubs
- Leave comments on steps
- See the status of deal stages
Stakeholders do not have access to your internal notes or team-only views. They only see what you've explicitly made visible.
Company Profile
Each Deal Space has a company profile for the prospect. You can populate this manually or use brand enrichment to auto-fill it from the company's website.
Manually Editing the Profile
- Open the Deal Space
- Click the company card or Edit company
- Fill in fields:
- Logo
- Website / domain
- Description & slogan
- Industry
- Primary and secondary brand colors
- Social profiles (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Contact email and phone
- Address
Auto-Enrichment (Teams Plan)
With a Teams plan, meetergo can automatically populate the company profile from the prospect's website using Brand.dev:
- Make sure the website or domain field is filled in
- Click Enrich company data
- meetergo fetches: logo, brand colors, backdrop image, description, industry, social profiles, stock info, and more
- Review the populated fields and save
See Brand Enrichment for full details.
Playbooks
A playbook is a reusable stage/step template that scaffolds the internal workflow for a new Deal Space. If your sales process is consistent across deals, create a playbook once and apply it to every new Deal Space.
Creating a Playbook
- Navigate to Deal Spaces → Playbooks
- Click New Playbook
- Add stages and steps (these represent your internal process, not the client-facing hub)
- Save
Applying a Playbook
When creating a new Deal Space, select a playbook from the dropdown. The Deal Space is created with all the playbook's stages and steps pre-populated.
Analytics for Deal Spaces
The Deal Space analytics view shows aggregate engagement across all linked Resource Hubs:
- Total hub views
- Unique stakeholder visitors
- Most-viewed steps
- Comment activity
This gives you a complete picture of deal engagement without opening each hub individually.
