Complete Your Onboarding
Walk through the meetergo onboarding wizard and set up your scheduling in minutes
After creating your account, the onboarding wizard helps you configure meetergo for your needs. This guide explains each step of the wizard and how to skip or resume it.
If you would rather set everything up yourself, or you skipped the wizard, Welcome to meetergo! walks through the same setup screen by screen.
Onboarding Steps Overview
The wizard adapts to your selections, but typically includes:
- Welcome & Preferences - Choose what you want to use meetergo for
- Personal Information - Add your name and contact details
- Calendar Connection - Link your calendar for availability checking
- Availability Setup - Define your working hours
- Meeting Type Creation - Set up your first bookable meeting
Step 1: Welcome & Preferences
Choose your primary use case:
- Meetings: Focus on scheduling appointments
- Business Card: Create a digital business card
- Both: Access all features
Your selection determines which features are highlighted during setup, but you can always access everything later.
Step 2: Personal Information
Enter your details that will appear on your booking page:
- Name: How you want to be displayed to invitees
- Profile photo: Helps invitees recognize you (optional but recommended)
A professional photo increases booking rates by making your page more personal and trustworthy.
Step 3: Calendar Connection
Pick your provider and follow the authorization prompts. Once connected, meetergo hides times when you are busy and writes confirmed bookings back to your calendar. You can connect more calendars later from Settings, and Connect your calendar lists every supported provider with its own setup guide.
What Permissions Does meetergo Need?
meetergo requests only the permissions necessary for scheduling:
- Read your events: To check when you're busy
- Create events: To add confirmed bookings
- Modify events: To update or cancel bookings
We never access email content, contacts, or other sensitive data.
Step 4: Availability Setup
Choose the days you work, set a start and end time for each one, and confirm your timezone. Whatever you enter here becomes your default schedule, and you can split days around breaks or add more schedules later. See Availability.
You can create multiple availability schedules later for different meeting types or time periods.
Step 5: Create Your First Meeting Type
Give the meeting a name, a duration, a short description, and a location such as meetergo Connect, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or a phone call. Everything else on a meeting type can be changed afterwards, so keep this one simple. See Create a meeting type.
Completing Onboarding
After finishing all steps, you'll see a confirmation screen with:

- Options to share via email, copy link, or embed
