aB-Agenta Integration
Connect an aBServer to import customers and sync bookings, CRM notes, and documents
The aB-Agenta integration connects meetergo to your own aBServer. It supports three independent workflows:
- import customers and mapped notes from aB-Agenta into meetergo CRM
- create or update a customer in aB-Agenta after a booking
- optionally send new meetergo CRM notes and documents to aB-Agenta
Requirements
Before connecting, make sure that:
- the aB-Agenta developer/API module is enabled for your license
- aB-Agenta and aBServer have been updated after the module was enabled
- your aBServer is reachable from the Internet through HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate
- your meetergo plan includes CRM integrations
- you are a meetergo workspace administrator
A local address such as localhost, 192.168.x.x, or a server that is only reachable through your office network cannot be used. meetergo validates the hostname, DNS result, and redirects before sending credentials.
If the developer module was enabled today, run Additional modules → System settings → Online update in aB-Agenta before continuing.
Get the connection values
You need the following values from your aBServer administrator or ArtBase development support:
- aBServer URL: the public HTTPS address of the server
- API username
- API password
- Service password: sent as the
ab-servicepasswordheader - Data directory: optional, only when your aBServer requires
ab-datadirectory - Client secret: optional, only when your aBServer requires
ab-client-secret
Your ArtBase customer number and aB-Agenta serial number identify your license. They are not API credentials and are not entered in meetergo.
Treat every connection value like a password. meetergo encrypts saved credentials and never displays them again.
ArtBase publishes the aB-Agenta API overview and API documentation.
Connect aB-Agenta
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find aB-Agenta in the CRM category and click Connect.
- Enter the aBServer URL, API username, API password, and Service password.
- Enter the optional Data directory and Client secret if your server uses them.
- Click Test and load fields.
- Select the aB-Agenta customer object. The standard customer object is preselected when available.
- Map at least First name, Last name, and Email. Map any other customer properties you want to synchronize.
- Optional: enable Send CRM notes and documents to aB-Agenta, select the target object, and map its customer reference, content, title, and created-date properties.
- Click Save connection.
The setup reads object and property metadata from your own aBServer. Custom aB-Agenta installations can therefore use their own object and property names.
Import customers into meetergo CRM
- Open CRM → Contacts.
- Click Import from aB-Agenta.
- If a note object is configured, choose whether to import mapped notes.
- Click Start import.
The import processes up to 5,000 customers per run and can be started once every 5 minutes. Existing contacts are matched by the stored aB-Agenta record ID first and by email second. Repeated imports update matching contacts and do not delete or archive local CRM contacts.
Send booking attendees to aB-Agenta
Connecting the integration does not enable booking sync automatically. Enable it for each meeting type that should write customers to aB-Agenta:
- Open Meeting types and edit a meeting type.
- Open its CRM settings.
- Find aB-Agenta under Connected apps and click Manage.
- Enable Create or update customer.
After a booking, meetergo finds the customer by email or creates a new customer in the mapped object. The booking succeeds even when the aBServer is temporarily unavailable.
Send CRM notes and documents to aB-Agenta
When Send CRM notes and documents to aB-Agenta is enabled, new notes and files added to linked meetergo CRM contacts are sent to the configured aB-Agenta object. This workflow is independent of booking sync.
The local CRM action is never blocked by a temporary aBServer outage. The external failure is recorded for troubleshooting.
Update or disconnect the connection
Open Settings → Integrations → aB-Agenta.
- Click Update connection to validate new credentials or change mappings. Secret values must be entered again.
- Click Disconnect to remove the stored connection. Customer data already imported into meetergo is kept.
Troubleshooting
The connection test fails
Check that the URL starts with https://, has a valid public certificate, and is reachable outside your company network. Then verify the username, password, service password, and any optional headers with your aBServer administrator.
The API module is not available
Restart aB-Agenta while the computer is online or run Additional modules → System settings → Online update. If the module is still unavailable, contact ArtBase development support.
A property is missing from the mapping list
The mapping list comes directly from the selected aB-Agenta object. Return to the customer-object selection and load the correct object. Ask your aB-Agenta administrator to confirm the object's bound_on properties.
The import is rate-limited
Wait 5 minutes before starting another company import.
A booking was created but no customer appeared
The booking flow does not wait for an unavailable on-premise server. Confirm that booking sync is enabled for the meeting type, then check the aBServer's public availability and credentials.
