ActiveCampaign integration: sync booking contacts and tags

Connect ActiveCampaign with your API URL and key, choose tags for bookings, reschedules and cancellations, and optionally add new contacts to a list.

Updated on September 25, 2026

Connect ActiveCampaign to send an invitee's email address, name and phone number when they book, reschedule or cancel. Contacts are matched by email. CRM integrations require Light or higher.

Connect ActiveCampaign

  1. In ActiveCampaign, open Settings > Developer and copy your API URL and API key.
  2. In meetergo, open Integrations, find ActiveCampaign, and select Connect.
  3. Enter the URL and key. Select Connect again. meetergo checks the credentials before saving them.
  4. Choose your tags for each event and, optionally, a list for new bookings. Select Save.

Your API key is never displayed after saving. To replace it, enter the new credentials and select Reconnect.

Choose which bookings sync

Turn on Enable for all meeting types to sync every booking. Otherwise, open a meeting type's Apps settings and enable ActiveCampaign there. Meeting-type templates carry the same settings.

Each event has its own tag selection: Booking tags, Rescheduling tags, and Cancellation tags. Tags selected on the meeting type are added to the tags in the integration settings. Existing tags are kept.

The optional list applies only to new bookings. Rescheduling or cancelling does not subscribe or unsubscribe a contact. Contacts already present on the list keep their existing status, including an opt-out. Use your booking form's CRM opt-in field when consent is required; declining that field prevents sync for every event.

A meeting type can choose a different list. Use integration list uses the list selected in the integration settings.

If a sync fails

Bookings still succeed when ActiveCampaign is unavailable. The integration health section and ActiveCampaign settings show the connection error. Check the API key, tags and list, then reconnect if needed. A successful later sync clears the error. Failed events are not automatically replayed.

Disconnect

Open the ActiveCampaign settings and select Disconnect. This removes the saved credentials and stops new syncs. Contacts and tags already in ActiveCampaign remain there. Reconnect and reconfigure the integration to resume syncing.
