Submit referrals and follow their status
Submit prospective customers in the native Partner portal and understand each referral status.
Approved Partners introduce prospective businesses through the native meetergo Partner portal. The referral belongs to the approved company, so its admins can follow the relationship from one shared record.
Submit a referral
- Open Partner portal from your own approved company workspace.
- Select Add referral.
- Enter the contact and prospective customer company.
- Choose how your company expects to work with the customer.
- Optionally add phone, country, website, estimated seats, use case, and notes.
- Confirm that the contact expects meetergo to receive the information.
- Select Save referral.
Submit only business contacts who agreed to the introduction. Do not submit purchased lists or people who do not expect meetergo to contact them.
The referral starts as Submitted.
Referral statuses
| Status | Meaning | Partner action |
|---|---|---|
| Submitted | meetergo received the referral and review is still open. | Edit the business context or withdraw it. |
| Qualified | meetergo accepted the opportunity for follow-up. | Contact support to correct details. |
| Won | The referred business became a customer under the Partner review. | No self-service change. |
| Lost | The opportunity did not become a customer. | No self-service change. |
| Rejected | The submission was not accepted as a valid Partner referral. | No self-service change. |
| Withdrawn | Your company ended the submission before review progressed. | Submit a new corrected referral when appropriate. |
meetergo staff controls the later statuses. A status is not an invoice, commission confirmation, payment record, or customer provisioning state.
When a Refer referral earns commission
A referral can earn commission only when all of these are true:
- meetergo accepted the referral and linked it to the customer.
- The relationship is Refer: Customer pays meetergo, not Resell.
- The customer pays an eligible recurring software invoice.
- The payment falls within the first 12 months from the first eligible paid invoice.
The commission is 20% to 35% of eligible collected net recurring software revenue, based on the Partner's effective level immediately before the payment. It excludes tax, refunds, credits, chargebacks, bad debt, setup and services, pass-through communication costs, and metered AI or other usage charges.
Each amount remains on hold for 45 days. It becomes available if the customer payment remains valid. Available balances below EUR 100 carry forward. See Partner pricing and commission for the complete rules.
When meetergo records an eligible settled payment, the Commissions tab shows the earning with its frozen Partner level, rate, hold date, and balance effect. Referral status alone still does not create an earning. Payout remains a direct process with meetergo.
Edit or withdraw a submitted referral
While the status is Submitted, you can update the business context or withdraw the referral. The contact identity stays stable. If the contact name, email, phone, or company is wrong, withdraw the referral and submit a corrected one when you still have consent.
After review progresses, contact support with the prospective company and contact email.
Referrals and customer workspaces stay separate
- Won does not create a customer workspace.
- Creating a workspace does not invent a referral or change a referral status.
- Choosing Refer or Resell happens on the managed customer, not the referral.
- Customer users, current estimates, and monthly statements belong to the customer record.
This separation prevents a sales-status update from creating users or financial obligations.
Cello is not for approved Partners
Cello is only the affiliate and rewards panel for normal users. It is never used for an approved Partner application, referral, referral status, commission decision, customer, or billing statement. Approved Partner companies use the native Partner portal, where Cello is hidden.
If you only want a personal affiliate link and do not need the Partner program, see Affiliate rewards and the Partner program.
